WEEK 2 START/SIT

Post#1 » by Shady Franchise » Wed Sep 11, 2013 9:16 pm

Pick 2:
SJax vs STL
Spiller vs Car
R Bush @Ariz

I'm thinking of rolling with Mr. consistent SJAX, and having a home run hitter in there (Spiller or Bush).

Thoughts?

I'd go with Steven and Bush. I have a feeling Bush is just going to destroy Arizona. And I think Atlanta is going to give the ball to Steven a lot this week after a fairly modest week against the Saints.

Thanks guys. Got a good problem indeed, though I wish I could plug Spiller in there being as he was my 1st pick lol. I need to see how he does in week 2 to gain confidence in him again. We only start 2 RBs and no Flex, so unfortunately one will have to ride the pine! Carolina DST looks pretty good too.

For my flex position in a 12 team standard league.

McFadden against Jax or Garcon against GB?

As of now I am starting DMac but am considering putting in Garcon just because of how Boldin tore up GB's defense.

I'd personally go with Spiller and Bush. Not a big fan of Jackson.

It's hard for me to start a WR over a healthy, potentially potent RB. I'd roll with the upside of Mcfadden, though Garcon will see plenty of action in what should be a high scoring game. Tough, tough call.

PS: I just checked some rankings and they have Garcon higher than Mcfadden 2 out of 3. Not a big sample size, but the experts are leaning towards Garcon. Good luck!

Pick a flex:

Lamar Miller (@ IND)
Chris Givens (@ ATL)
Cecil Shorts (@ OAK)
Michael Floyd (v. DET)

(also starting Murray/Sproles/Cruz/S.Smith)

I'm thinking of starting McFadden over Chris Johnson and putting Garcon in my flex position. I'm not to confident about him getting big numbers against the Texans D.

Can't believe I'm saying it, but I agree...Mcfadden and Garcon

RG3. Shootout coming, more running yards potential (obvious), and you're less likely to get killed by turnovers.

Eh, both games are going to be a shootout. I'd take Eli, just because he's healthy and the Giants have no run game whatsoever so he's going to be throwing......alot.

That's a good point. Wasn't think about the run/pass split with the Giants. I'm fine with Eli as the choice.

Pick 2 regular scoring

Wayne vs. MIA
Garcon @ GB
Colston @ TB

I could start all 3 but I would have to bench one of lacy, morris, sjax

Colston Wayne. Wayne is just a no brainer and Tampa Bay is just in disarray and it never hurts to have Drew Breed throwing to you.

Cutler or Romo in a 2 QB league? Other one is Rodgers btw.

I'm worried about Romos injury and Cutler played well last week

Not sure if I want to stick with Greg Olsen or pick up Jordan Cameron.
