Some more rules for the NCAA Fantasy League:

Overview:
While this league has NCAA teams and conferences, the fantasy sports will be professional basketball and football, so the NBA and NFL.

There are 7 conferences, holding 12 or 14 teams with a total of 90 NCAA teams
You will compete against your division but also have nonconference games
The league is a keeper/dynasty league (you keep everyone year-to-year) and will offer rookie drafts each offseason
Each conference will be like its own league, meaning the same player (LeBron James/Antonio Brown) will be on seven different teams during the season.
That means that during nonconference games, there might be the same players going against each other
That also means that you can only trade within your division
Football games are played once a week: 3 nonconference games/ 10 conference games/conference championship week/College Football Semifinals and then bowl games for any team above .500 and the National Championship
Basketball games will occur twice a week (Monday-Thursday/Friday-Sunday)

Startup Drafts:
We will have startup drafts once we get all 90 teams filled and Fantrax paid for ($1.78 total).
Each conference will have a separate offline draft (run through Proboards). The Football draft will have 13 rounds in which you can pick any player drafted before this season. Each draft will have a 12-hour timer on each pick. Picks not made will be skipped.
No rookies can be selected in this startup draft.

Rookie Drafts:
As noted above, there will be rookie drafts each offseason. You can trade rookie picks up to three years in the future and package them with other players to make deals.
Each team will start with two Rookie Picks in each draft, starting in 2016 (after the startup draft).
Each conference will hold its own offline rookie draft. The order will go in reverse order of finish for non tournament or bowl teams/then final record after postseason games for any tournament or bowl-eligible team.

Trading:
Trades are allowed within your division up until regular season ends. Cross-Sport Trading is not allowed.

If you agree to a trade, post the trade in your conference’s trade board folder on Proboards. Once you post on the board that you accept and agree to the specific trade, make sure you propose and accept the trade on Fantrax. The trade will then be put up for voting on Fantrax and every team in the league will have a chance to vote over the next 24 hours. If the trade has more an objection percentage of 67% or higher, the trade will be rejected.

While posting trades on Proboards, you must also write an explanation why you feel the trade will positively impact your franchise.

Here is an example of how all trades should look when posted:
(Name teams in the trade and which players and/or picks each team receives)
Wisconsin Badgers Sends:
Andrew Luck
Penn State Sends:
Marcus Mariota
Penn State’s 2017 1st Round Rookie Pick
(Explanation)
“While losing Luck is going to hurt a bit at the quarterback department, I still have Carson Palmer for the remainder of the season and then Mariota for the future. The first round pick helps this trade even out and should help me grab a top rookie from next year’s class.”

All trades will be processed after the 24-hour period expires.

The trade deadline will be the Wednesday after the regular season matchup each year. This year that day is December 7, 2016.

Trading will reopen after the championship games in each sport.

**Draft Time Voting Exception

During the startup or rookie drafts, all trades that will involve active draft picks will be processed immediately.

Proboards:
Proboards is your source for anything that goes on in the league. Each team has its own personal space that it can use to post trade blocks for each team. Teams may also wish to post their full basketball and football roster on Proboards as it will make trading easier and less switching between Proboards and Fantrax.
All league news will be posted on Proboards as well. Within the league news section are the AP and Coaches Poll as well as NCAA Tournament Bracketology for basketball and BCS Standings/Bowl Projections for football. These pages will be updated weekly.
There will also be league history pages for football and basketball that will be updated throughout the season. Under each team’s page on Proboards, you will see (Basketball Record: -, Football Record: -
Basketball Conference Titles: -, Football Conference Titles: - NCAA Basketball Championships: - NCAA Football Championships: -) - those will be updated throughout the year as well.
Proboards is also a good place to get in contact with other owners. Every GM can reached by private message (PM). You can send trade requests this way or just chat with other owners. This is also how any league personnel (Coaches Poll Voters/Schedule Creators/Basketball and Football Committees/Conference Overseers and Historical Database) will keep in contact.

NCAA Basketball Tournament/ NCAA Football Bowl Games:
In basketball, 40 teams will make the NCAA Tournament. The teams will be seeded by a committee and then work their way through the tournament. Unlike the rest of the season, these matchups will last a full week (so the last 6 weeks of the season will be NCAA Tournament games).

There will be an NIT Tournament Bracket that will also be used for anyone not in NCAA Tournament so that they can continue to play games. The NIT Tournament will be a double elimination tournament and feature the other 50 teams.

For football, any team that finishes .500 or better on the season will make a bowl game. There will be six ‘big’ bowl games and then the National Championship. The ‘big six bowl games in 2016’ are: Cotton Bowl
Orange Bowl, Chick-fil-A Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Rose Bowl and Fiesta Bowl. The Cotton Bowl and Sugar Bowl will feature the league’s four best teams (as voted upon by the committee) and act as the College Football Playoff Semifinals. The winner of each of these games will battle in the College Football Playoff Championship in the week 16 of the NFL season.
So weeks 1-3 are nonconference games, 4-13 are conference games, week 14 in conference championship between each conference’s top 2 teams, week 15 is college football semifinals and the rest of the bowl games, week 16 is just the national championship.

The committee will be the same for basketball and football. If a committee’s team is in the postseason, a different committee member will be used in judging that team’s place.
