Madden Simulation Football League Reborn!

First and foremost, the purpose of this league is to have fun. Every week, players in this league compete in a simulated football game. We are currently using Madden 05 to do the simulations because it meets all of our needs, and we have fine tuned the game settings to get predictable results. League members create one player using a standard form, then that player is re-created in the official league file in Madden. This player is then assigned to a team and every week players do point tasks to earn TPE (Total Points Earned). TPE is then used to improve the created player, and every week the Madden file gets updated. Every week members get to see the results of their work with their player's improvement on the playing field. Game stats are tracked and recorded through out the season. The best teams in the league go to the playoffs. The best players in the league have a chance at winning personal awards such as MVP, Rookie of the Year, and many others.

In addition to the competition, there are many forums on the board dedicated to socializing and debating on every topic imaginable. We have forums set up for all other major league sports, and there are forums devoted to random topics as well. The MSFL can be a fun place to hang out and speak your mind, even if you don't get involved in the competition.
