My friends and I are doing a 10 year keeper league. Last year was the first year and we get to keep 1 player each year. Last year I drafted Shaun Alexander. We had 8 people and have 2 more joining this year. The two new people get the first two picks this year assuming LT,LJ,steven jacks, peyton, frank gore, and rudi are kept from last year. I can either:
Keep alexander as my #1 this year, and since I had the second best record last year, pick #9 in the second round
or
drop alexander, pick #3 or #4 (depending on who else drops their #1) in the first round behind the new people, and then pick #3 or #4 again in the second round right before the keepers from last year pick their second picks.
basically...
am i better off with alexander and #9 in the second round...and continue snake order in the draft (#2 in the 3rd round)
or #3 or #4 in the first (assuming the players above are kept) and then #3 or #4 in the second round....and then snake order the remainder of the draft?
