Help with Fantasy Team

Post#1 » by Illuminati » Tue Jul 31, 2007 3:08 pm

Here it is, tell me what you think:

QB: Vince Young, David Carr
WR: Donald Driver, Reggie Brown, Braylon Edwards, Mark Clayton
RB: Larry Johnson, Willie Parker
TE: Antonio Gates
W/R: Edgerrin James
Bench: Brandon Jackson, Derrik Ward, Alex Smith, Brad Smith, Michael Clayton, Daunte Culpepper
Kickers: Nate Keading, Neil Rackers
Team Defence: Pittsburgh, St.Louis

Where should I improve? Where am I good?

your WR, TE and RB corps are set. your QB is weak..... seriously weak... vince young is not a fantasy QB.... david carr is now a backup in carolina... culpepper?!?!?!? he's useless now... why bother pick him up? your bench is weird too... brandon jackson? you don't need him. derrick ward?!?!? WTF!?!?!? brad smith?! you have players that will never play a single game....

plus, you don't need two kickers... you can drop rackers.

as for defense, pittsburgh is good but st. louis?!??!? wtf???

drop the players i mention and improve your QB corps and strengthen your other corps as well... most of your bench players are useless.

Should I trade for a QB or try to pick up a sleeper through FA?

Vince Young is getting overrated by Fantasy Owners. He has no weapons now and he is still inexperienced.
First the federal government borrowed money; then gave the money to Bank of America; then I borrowed some of that money from Bank of America and gave it to the federal government; then the federal government gave the money back to Bank of America.

Thats a pretty bad team on paper imo.

You have crappy bench depth and a horrid QB situation.

My first move would be for another QB.

Who are the best player available on waivers?

I actually think he's starting to be a bit underrated by FF players now, because of everyone bypassing him thinking he's overrated.

He'll have just as many TDs as Interceptions and probably end up around 2000 yards in passing... But he'll also likely have 700 Yards rushing and 6-10 TDs. He's a pretty good red-zone threat to run.
