What is your guys opinion on this guy. Is he second round material. third round. Or is he a bust. I know he is going to split carries with taylor but he did last year and got alot of yards. But was that a fluke. What do you guys think.

He is a smaller back who won't get the majority of the carries. Will he get as many TD's this year? Some rank him as late 1st, early 2nd, but I will only take him if he lasts till late 2nd and early 3rd (not gonna happen), but if you feel like taking a risk, go right ahead. If Taylor goes down (When), he becomes a 20+ carry back.

If there's one sport in which the Sophomore Slump doesn't apply to... It's football.

Any other examples?

IMO, Sophomore Slumps in ANY sport is a myth...

Michael Jordan? He was injured for most of the year, but he did slump.

Just my opinion, but he's very overrated...

Fred Taylor was given a new contract so they'll continue to split carries... Greg Jones is back as a potential TD vulture... Leftwich will be back which means more passing... I wouldn't touch him in the 1st two rounds...

Keep in mind that my opinion is the minority opinion on this guy...

Odell Thurman - suspended but still a slump from a very promising rookie year

Carlos Rogers - played better than any rookie corner his rookie season. Stunk for the complete first half of the 06 season.

theres a lot more examples out there.

Another one is Terrence Newman of Dallas. He was pretty bad for the majority of his sophomore season but came on strong after it.

He didnt have as good as year and wasnt as consistant and as for the person that they are goiing to spilt carries. whats it going to be 70-30. I dont see it being 50-50 at all. Dont get about taylor annual place on the injury list.

I really like ths guy for fantasy, he reminds me a bit of Brian Westbrook in terms of how he's used in both the running and passing game. Taylor still gets carries, but Maurice Jones Drew is the gamebreaker.
