This is my first time playing fantasy football, its a league with friends.

Head-to-Head, Points Based System.
Scoring based on total stats each period.
12 team league.

Here is my team:

QB - Matt Hasselback/Ben Roethlisberger
HB - Frank Gore/Rudi Johnson/Edgerin James/Marshawn Lynch
WR - Steve Smith/Donald Driver/Terry Glenn/Jerricho Cotchery/DJ Hackett
TE - L.J. Smith
K - Sebastian Janikowski
DST - Dolphins

I'm kinda concerned that both Steve Smith and Driver have a bye the same week. Is that a big deal?

I like the depth at RB, but is it too much?

Thanks

Thats an excellent group of running backs- Gore and Rudi are legit #1 backs and Edge is due for a bounce back year. Also Marshawn Lynch is projected to get a lot of carries for Buffalo and many think he will be an impact player right away.
You may want to look at trading one of them down the road if Hasselback struggles. Overall a good team though.

You've got 4 players who are projected to be available 1st or 2nd round.

Therefore, your draft was awesome. Gore, Johnson, Edge, and Steve Smith are all guys who will typically be gone in the first 2 rounds.

It would depend a little bit on your starting lineup requirements (do you start 2 WRs or 3? 2 RBs or 1 and a FLEX RB/WR, but either way your draft is still very, very good on a talent basis.

You should do well or be able to make trades to improve your team out of your excellent RB depth.
