I drafted gates 3rd with Holt avaioable as the best remaining WR, it is far more advantageouss to have the best TE (who is averaging 11 TD's in hte last 3 years) than Holt.

Why?

I get the best TE in football who produces like a semi-elite lvl receiver at the position where many would consider a crap shoot.

Kind of like having Yao as the best positional C in the NBA versus the plethora of swingmen available

Anyways, anyone want to comment on my draft pls? I as in *overall*

no... gates doesn't give you the yardage... holt is a 1100+ guaranteed receiver... gates didn't even gain 1000 yards last year.. tight ends are hard to predict. their season stats go up and down all the time. torry holt is probably one of the most consistent WR in the league. he's a no.1 WR in fantasy football.. TE is a luxury good. you don't really need it. plus, you could have picked out tony gonzalez, todd heap or vernon davis that could also put up great fantasy points.

Well I have Driver, randy moss, darrell jackson and calvin, so I hope to get some nice stats from them too

randy moss is an unknown... new england spreads the ball so randy moss probably won't get 1000 yards like torry holt. darrell jackson is injury prone. calvin johnson is fine.

just don't make the same mistake next time.

your RB corp is fine. gore should be fine. i don't know about drew cause he's on my list of sophomore slumps but you have ronnie brown and deuce mcallister.

in an 8 team league every starter on every team should be real good. Your QB is carson Palmer who is a top 2 or 3 QB so yea i would say your fine. It's hard to critique an 8 team league team since everyone is real good unless they just did a horrible job at drafting. I would say you did a good job. Gates in the 3rd is a reach but other players fell way late like Ronnie Brown(9) and Deuce McCalister(11). So yea it's a crap shoot a lot of times in the 8 team leagues because everyone has a good team for the mos tpart and it just depends on how the good players play once the season starts.

ne opinions on Driver?

driver is a great receiver who on a lot of teams is a #1 WR. His ankle injury and the way they are acting hush hush on it could be a casue for concern but as of right now he's going to be ready for the opener and is a top 10-15 WR
