I would be getting Tomlinson, Darrell Jackson, Cotchery, Tatum Bell and Alex Smith and would be losing Leinart, Reggie Wayne, Anquan Boldin, Willie Parker and Fred Taylor.

My team currently is Leinart, Wayne, Boldin, Branch, Parker, Reggie Bush, David Martin, Thomas Jones, Cadillac Williams, Chambers, Glenn, Delhomme and Taylor.

If I wasn't giving up Leinart and only one of my WRs, I'd do it, but I think I'm giving up too much to get LT, only because it weakens me elsewhere. I don't mind overpaying for him, that's why I drafted some of the depth I have, but I think that's too much, even for LT.

I'm giving up 2 really good WRs for not much in return. I realize its LT, but is it really worth the big drop in my WRs? There really isn't anything left in free agency for receivers. ALso, I'd be stuck with Alex Smith and Jake Delhomme at QB. Other guys available would be Losman, Schaub, McNair, Green, Campbell, Garcia, Leftwich, Culpepper, Harrington and Huard.

i wouldn't do it. willie parker and reggie bush are very good. you don't need LT. plus, if you get LT, you will lose two of your best WRs. it's a BS trade. don't do it.

i would drop jake delhomme and pick up losman or schaub(depend if he's doing anything good in the first few weeks). i have no faith in delhomme. carolina brought in david carr for a reason.

Yeah, I'm looking for any and every reason to get rid of Delhomme. I took him in the 2nd to last round anyway, so I wasn't really worried.

Its funny, because other people seem like its a no brainer that I accept this trade, but I'm thinking it might just be because I get LT. Yeah, he's awesome, amazing, spectacular, etc.... but this trade would kill my depth. Sure, I could try to turn one of my other RBs into a solid WR, but you can't guarantee I'll be able to do it...

Cotchery and Jackson would be your starting receivers and Alex Smith at QB. LT isn't saving that team. Stay put with your solid RB's, WR's and up an coming QB.

Leinart is fool's gold. I'd see if you could work out a simplified deal where you keep Reggie Wayne but get LT and Cotchery.

LT for Parker is a given, you win this end by lightyears.

Boldin for Cotcherey is close to a wash, no joke, I don't care what anyone says. YEah I would rather have Boldin anyday of the week, but still, it's not as lopsided as it looks.

Now on the Wayne for Jackson deal, he wins by far, but as long as he stays healthy Jackson will be the #1 option on a much improved offense, with "an up and coming QB", as someone mentioned about Lienhart.

In my eyes, Alex Smith is going to be a beast this year relevant to his fantasy draft position, and with starters of Bush and LT at RB I would live with him anyday of the week as my starter at QB.

Leinhart is not even going to put up the stats Smith does, let alone should he be the deal breaker even if.

You're weak at QB no matter what, even with Delhomme, and with Steve SMith supposedly back to form he might be your best bet anyway.

But alas, I still would rather go to war with Smith as my starting QB out of all 3 of them.

Now you seemed straight stacked at RB, especially 2nd teir guys, but BEll for Taylor is a no brainer.

If BEll does what I think he will, he will firmly lock up the feature back spot even when Kevin Jones comes back.

Figure without jones, 20-25 touches a game plus 2-3 receptions.

With JOnes, maybe 12-18 carries plus the receptions, and you don't even need the guy except for trade bait or injury protection.

Think about it, you package THomas Jones or BEll along with a guy like Glenn, Branch or even Cotcherey for a straight up top 3-8 reciever later in the year if that person is hurting at RB.

Get LT.

You win in this trade without question/

Would have won it numerous times except for injuries, and I have won about 6 yahoo public leagues over the last 5 years out of a total of about 12, even though I don't really count these for much considering people draft like retards and don't pay attention to their teams at all in public leagues.

Bell for Taylor = no brainer/ or at least equal
Alex Smith for Leinhart = probrably better in the Smith end/ maybe equal/ extremely small loss at worst
Darrell Jackson for Wayne = obviiosly Wayne, but Jackson should put up at least 1000 yards and 9 touches if he remains healthy
Cotchery for Boldin = Definetly Boldin, but in all reality if they both put up similar stats, you are talking about a 1000 yard 7-10 touch guy vs. a 1200-1300 yard 4-7 touch guy, you do the math.

On top of this, you can always give up a very good reciever and a starting running back for an absolute stud reciever ina trade at some point in the season, whena team that has 3 straight up studs at reciever and 1 decent running back and a scrub running back realise they need to do a trade like this just to have a shot at the playoffs.

alex smith doesn't have the receiver talents like leinart.

darrell jackson is miles away from wayne... he can't stay healthy and he's not in seattle anymore...

crotchey is also miles away from boldin.

i wouldn't do the trade when you look at his WR corps after the trade... it will be terrible.

plus, if you trade for LT, you're putting way too much investment on LT. if LT goes down, you lose the league. you always divert your investment to minimize the risk.
