Check out the draft results for a guy in my wife's work league.
Round 1-Steven Jackson, missed 2 games already and now missing 3 starting OL
Round 2-Cadillac Williams, out for the season
Round 3-Roy Williams, doing well but not cracking the end zone
Round 4-Drew Brees, having a brutal start
Round 5-Santana Moss, hurt once again
Round 6-Hines Ward, injured
Round 7-Alex Smith, was spared one of the least productive veteran QB seasons ever by wrecking his shoulder
Round 8-Calvin Johnson, looking good but hurt
Round 9-Tatum Bell, okay but not getting lots of carries
Round 10-Adam Vinatieri, okay
Round 11-Chris Cooley, okay
Round 12-Vikings D, doing well
7 of his 11 positional picks have been injured, including 6 of the first 8.
He did scramble well--picked up Dwayne Bowe, Derek Anderson, Roddy White, and Ahman Green off waivers. But what a disheartening start to a fantasy season!
