alright so here's my team, personally im not that pleased with it, and usually after every draft i always feel great about my team, i had the 11th pick out of 12:
larry johnson
randy moss (i think he and johnson were steals at there picks)
matt hasselbeck
michael turner
carson palmer
selvin young RB
donovan mcnabb
'rowdy' roddy white WR
bobby engram WR
New England D
kenny watson RB
tony scheffler TE
Zach Miller TE
jason hill WR
Leon Washington RB
Shayne Graham
yea i did take 3 qb's, palmer and donovan were steals when they were taken, though it kinda kept me from getting a solid TE, hopefully i can trade them for WR or RB help
thoughts?

your rb's are so good, i'm not a fan of larry johnson, or micheal turner
your wr's aren't so hot after moss either, white will be good but after that not so much
engram is hurt i believe?
needs some work

Heath Miller is a very solid TE. Sure, he's not going to score bushels of fantasy points like the first tier TEs, but he's definitely at the top of the second tier.
Your RBs suck major balls, though. Rectify that by trading one of your QBs. I'd say move McNabb as he may bring back the best return.

the problem is i have ZACH miller of oakland, not heath
but yea, i was really hoping id be able to get kevin smith of detroit but i figured i could pick turner then get smith on the way back, unfortunately we had a detroit fan in our draft that i forgot to consider.
but yea i still have some work to do on this team

Trade a QB for a TE! There has to be someone that needs help at QB that could help you out at TE. You have 3 QBs good enough to be a team's #1 QB if healthy.

TE is a crapshoot. Watch waivers carefully and pick up the guy who's getting the most receptions (better indicator than fantasy points after 2 or 3 weeks imo). At least 2 of the top ten fantasy TEs at the end of the year are unowned in your league right now, more likely than not.

yea and i think scheffler or miller can be that guy, owen daniels has a shot to become in the top tier of TE's too, but he's also taken.

It all depends on your leagues scoring format and starting positions.
My league gives points for rushing attempts and receptions, etc.
If you were in my league I would say your starters are solid, but your bench is weak and you're pretty weak at TE and 3rd reciever.
I love LJ and Turner this year, Moss is can't miss barring injury and Roddy White should be great if he slightly improves on last year and doesn't hit a sophomore slump.
There is a lot of room for improvement, and steal or not you could havehad a much superior starting lineup had you not drafted McNabb and Palmer on top of the fact you already had Hasselback.
Complete overkill when I would bet there were some serious studs left on the board when you wasted those picks.
If your trade theor works out then great, but you, me and everyone else knows that trades in fantasy football always work out better in theory then in reality.
Don't love Selvin Young either.
I like him the best out of the Denver backs, but Hall is going to hawk goalline abd rumors are Shanohan loves this Torain kid.
At best you are looking at a good 1st half folowed by an ugly-who has the hot hand-3 back-committe when Torain comes back from injury around week 8 or 9, unless Torain never recovers well and Hall gets hurt as well.
Then you still have to worry about Pittman.
Watson could be solid, but again probrably a committe with Perry, who will get a much bigger share of the carries in an ultra pass happy offense
Well the waiver wire usually is what wins championships combines with an allstar 4 player drafted core, so........
Good luck though.

yea, there were 3 guys i really wanted that i didnt get, dwayne bowe, kevin smith and jerricho cotchery
had i taken bowe and hoped carson palmer was there 2 picks later i couldve gotten him. i took turner and hoped smith would fall to me 20 picks later, cotchery was pretty much the same way
and we dont get points for receptions or attempts or anything like that, its a point for every 10 yards running or receiving 1 for every 25 passing, 6 for every td
the only special thing is if your qb throws for 300 yards you get an extra 5 points, and if your receiver or running back runs or catches for over 100 yards u get an extra 5 points

Definitely trade one of your QBs and see if you can pawn them off for an upgrade at RB/TE if not both.

well i offered my dad this proposal:
carson palmer
kenny watson
tony scheffler
for
aaron rodgers
tony gonzalez
matt forte
he declined and switched matt forte with dominic rhodes
anyone think i should do that trade? it'd still give me what i think would be a good QB and a massive upgrade at TE but id still like to hold out for matt forte

Aaron Rodgers is not a good QB and a HUGE downgrade from Palmer.
And Tony Gonzalez is old.

I think I take that trade.
Watson's only value is if Perry goes down.
Gonzo, barring injury will beis normal top 3 TE self.
I think Aaron Rodgers is going to be very productive this season.
Not a top 5er or anything, but maybe 21-24 TDs, 17 picks, decent yardage.
Come to think of it your last worry is QB, but you are trading your best expendable chip for just TE improvement.
I don't know.
I have to think this one over more, and truthfully if Carson is top of the 2nd tiers as usual you could probrably get better for him in a straight up swap.
Roddy White is not a given to even match last years stats.
You should try t trade one of your QBs straight up for a top 7 reciever.

yea i offered i think palmer for fitzgerald to this one guy who has colston, fitz and santonio holmes, he also has LT but his weakness is qb w/phillip rivers. though i might be giving him the title if he does this trade i really need another WR or RB
i just want to get rid of palmer, i dont think he's that good, he was very average last year

it depends upon the format of your league.
but that team is all over the place crackers. the runningback core is dependent upon larry johnson. and he could kick ass, or not. but its a quality get. roddy white seems ok as receiver, but who is throwing to this guy. patriots D had some losses, especially with their corner that i like, forgot his name. so it all depends upon your format though.

alright fellow realgmers what is your suggestion on who to start this week:
at qb (choose 1):
donovan mcnabb vs. pitt
matt hasselbeck vs. st. louis
carson palmer @ nyg
right now im starting hasselbeck strictly for matchup purposes, it'd be a giant risk to start mcnabb, anyone wanto talk me into it?
rb/wr (pick 2 each, and one flex position):
larry johnson @ atl
the burner turner vs. kc
michael pittman vs. nawlins
selvin young vs. nawlins
wr:
randy moss vs. miami
'rowdy' roddy white vs. kc
robert meachem @ denver
im starting johnson, the burner, moss and white, im just having trouble between meachem (they'll be throwing alot) pittman (goal line back) and young (shannahan should get his head outta his ass and give him the majority of the carries)

my only argument for mcnabb is that he is playing well right now, so you should start him while you can
i'd go with moss and white for wr's as well
and it was bold of you getting 2 denver rb's since shannahan hates fantasy players (or so it seems)
turner for sure, johnson and then flip a coin?
