For all the Garrard, Taylor, Jones-Drew owners out there, things could get ugly really quick for these three guys. This offensively lost starting Center Brad Meester before the season started, and lost backup LT Richard Collier due to an off the field issue that I'm sure most of you are already aware off. But things just continue on from there.

Before the game against the Titans, starting RG Mo Williams injured his shoulder. He gave it a go, and was able to play one play before deciding he does not have enough power in his arm. Jack Del Rio said in his conference that the team is considering putting Williams in the IR list. Rumor has it that Mo has the same injury that Brad Meester has (torn bicep), which would prompt surgery and recovery of 4-6 weeks. But it didn't stop there.

During the game, starting LG Vince Manuwai suffered a leg injury, and was replaced by backup Uche Nwaneri. A few plays later, Nwaneri comes down with an injury. He was able to return to the game.

The rumor is that Nwaneri suffered a mild PCL sprain, and they expect him to start at G this coming week against Buffalo (although how much practice he'll get throughout the week is a big question). But what about of Manuwai, the Jaguars best run blocker? It was announced today that he has a torn ACL and is now out for the season.

The team finished their season opener with Barnes, Nwaneri, Norman, Reyes, and Pashos as their offensive line. They had no one else on the bench had one of those guys not been able to play. The team as a whole gave up 7 sacks against Tennessee's defense.

Against a Buffalo team that dominated Seattle's line, and a Marcus Stroud who will no doubt be inspired to play against his former team, this could get ugly very very quickly for the Jaguars offense.

it hurts the running game, but w/ Porter coming back soon look for the pass to be a bigger factor.

It's terrible. Manuwai was the key to the O-line run blocking, followed by Meetser, who's one of the rare centers that can effectively pull to run block.

I agree that a new passing game will have to show that diminishes the role of the WRs. Garrard is mobile, they have three good backs who can catch, and a few really big receivers and ends so I expect a lot of short routs out of big running formations. Were about to see how good Garrard is, and how much punishment he can take.
