Time to be Proactive at QB

Yahoo H2H

I'm in first and have dominated in both match ups so far. But I have done so with virtually nothing at QB. Derek Anderson started both weeks, and I have Jason Campbell backing him up. Should have started Campbell sunday, and will in week 3.

I'm thinking that maybe I should try to move Anderson for another good back or wideout, and picking up Flacco ( FA) to back up Campbell.

But on the other hand, if Im doing well without him, maybe I should sit tight and wait for him to start playing well rather than panic and deal a potential big producer at his lowest value.

if trent edwards is on waivers get him to back up cambell, he's been good so far

but maybe you wait on edwards until he's got better value, and after a good game get what you can

I think someone drafted Edwards in our league, at any rate he not out there.

I'm in negotiations for a deal:

I give up
TO
Derek Anderson

I get
Moss
Phillip Rivers

What do ya think? This was his offer, I'm really on the fence here.

hmm thats tough, you'd want rivers over anderson at this point, but TO would be preferable over Moss
how does the rest of you team look? got good rb's and other wr's?

moss should still be good but i don't know if the difference between TO and Moss is greater than Anderson and Rivers, with cassell as qb

They're decent . . .certainly getting a lot of TD's

WR:
TO
Chris Chambers
Toomer
Reggie Brown
Bobby Engram - injured but should be back by week 5

RBs:
Westbrook
Ernest Graham
Jonathan Stewart
Norwood

Cliff Levingston would sit on Anderson for a few weeks. There's no way that with that offensive line and those receivers that he'll keep putting up such paltry numbers. The only worry with Anderson is that they keep losing and Crennel decides to see what Quinn can do.

Nonetheless, keep TO and Anderson and ride the storm out.

I was able to spin Deangelo Williams - oops forgot to list him above - and Anderson for Rivers. Wasn't gonna play Williams any more now that Stewart is getting the goal line carries.

So got Rivers without giving up TO or anyone that I planned on starting regularly other than Anderson, who I also wouldn't have been starting!

That's a steal. Nice work.

It only worked cause the other guy has Romo (and is a huge Cowboys fan), he went QB's early in the draft.

I said why don't we make the deal, its not like your gonna play Rivers at all. I'm like, you'll only play him one week, why not play Anderson that week and get yourself a decent RB for your trouble.

Problem is Williams isn't really even a decent RB anymore... that guy needs to have his head examined. He could have gotten a lot more for Rivers. Anderson might not be starting after htis week ever.

Well I gave him a choice - any of my 'back up' RB's - Jerius Norwood, Andre Hall, or Williams.
