PPR League - 1 point per catch, 1 point per 10 yards receiving/rushing 6 per TD

Need to choose a flex play this week between three players: Bobby Engram (shutout last week and hasselback out again but #1 target), Warrick Dunn (monster week last week), and Lance Moore (big week again last week but possibe return of shockey/colston)

warrick dunn for sure, because it looks like graham will be the fullback again so dunn will get carries

with hasselbeck out that hurts bobby said since they don't throw it with Frye much, they might this week but maybe not his way

moore is tough too, with the return of those two, NO does throw it around a lot though

looking back it seems you only needed one of the three, so go with Dunn, should get the start again

It is definitely between Moore and Dunn. Dunn looks like he will get 20+ carries from here on out, but not get goaline snaps.

Moore, even with the return of Colston/Shocker, is probably #2 target to the leading QB right now. Thats still pretty good.

To me it comes down to the defenses they are facing. If one is really tough, might go with the other.

For the first question, definately Dunn.
for the other dude, Baltimore over Jets, Favre over Cutler, Daniels over Clark and Rhodes over Stewart.

Out of these three, can only start 2:
Greg Jennings @ Indy
Steve Smith @ NO
Braylon Edwards @ Wash

Jenning and Smith without a doubt imo.

Braylon needs to prove more to be ahead of those guys.

if you look straight up at the situation, warrick dunn is playing at home. thats an advantage. secondly, seattles passing, rushing and total defense has a low ranking in the league, which bodes well for warrick. engram is playing on the road, and tampas defense is very solid. very strong. add to the fact that carolina is just about top ranked against the pass, which means lance moore might have a bad day against carolinas defensive unit. so dunn is the logical choice. you would also get some passing yards with dunn to go along with the rush yardage.

but you never know for sure. reggie bush is going against carolina, which means they will devote plenty of resources to stop him, and somebody has to be open, which could be lance moore. the saints passing attack is off the charts with the schematics they run and the weapons they have.(althoug some hurt).

logical choices
1. warrick dunn (at home)
2. lance moore (on the road)
3. bobby engram(on the road)

high risk high reward choice?

new orleans has an awesome passing attack, i think #1 in the NFL. and with colston out, they must have a #1, and moore has been turning out to be that #1 receiver threat guy.

so logically you go with dunn. risk choice, lance moore. "winging it" choice, because hey, you never know? bobby engram.

First off, thanks AKB for the picks....its going to be hard to not start Cutler though. Before the post i had Jets, Cutler, Rhodes, and Clark in the starting line up (players from two different teams of mine). I'm going to switch owens, and I'm reallythinking about the Favre/Cutler thing, and BAL. We agreed on Rhodes for sure though. I appreciate your opinion and it helps.....thank goodness for this week 7start/sit thread!

Secondly, I would start Jennings FOR SURE (no brainer), and then I would go with Steve Smith because all of the Start ems this week say Delhomme is going to have a good game and he as a good history with NO, so its more than likely that Smith will be getting one of his TD passes.

Moore has to be considered a good play, but Dunn is gonna get at least 15 carries, or at least 15 touches including some passes.

I was saying it before the season, that Graham, no matter how good was gonna wind up at best giving up 8 carries and maybe 10 touches a game to Dunn, and if Dunn excelled and/or Graham slipped he would be at risk to lose significant playing time.
I would say 80% of the people I discussed this with disagreed with me.
I'm just kicking myself because after all that preaching he was dropped in my money league early in the year(Dunn), and I left him out there for like 1 or 2 weeks and someone else picked him up.

Anyhoo, go with Dunn vs. Seattle, he's gonna put up #'s.

I gotta say, you have some good options here.
I don't think you can go exceptionally wrong anyway you go.

I hate to say this, but I think I go with Baltimore's D, even though I am starting Ronnie Brown in 2 out of my 3 leagues.

I think I go with Cutler as well. New England is in shambles, and their record doesn't even reflect how horrible they are.
Even if Brady was healthy they wouldn't be as good as last year, and truthfully they would just be flatout outscoring teams again, helping their mediocre defense by scoring early, therefore taking away the opposing teams' ground game and making their passing game easier to defend because the opposition would be more predictable.
Denver is in a mini funk, but they are going to breakout of that this week. On top of that it hasn't really been their offense that is in as much trouble as their defense.
Look for this game to be a 1st half shootou, followed by a 2nd half in which Denver takes control of the game and the clock.
This will be Cassels 1st multi-TD game of the year. Not his last multi-interception game though.
Pittman for week 7 MVP!
Favre will have a good game as well, I just like Cutler this week.
Pittman puts up big yardage and 2-3 scores, but at least one of those scores and a chunk of his yardage is recieving.

The Daniels/Clark is way to close to call, they will probably both have moderate days.
I think I lean towards Clark because he has more of a chance to reach the endzone multiple times in a shootout, but then again Marvin is back in form, but GB has allowed a lot of TE's to score against them.
Then again Detroit allows every type of anything to run the score up on them except the Vikings.
Still, Slaton and Andre Johnson steal the show and Schaub puts up 3 total touchdowns, including 1 rushing on his patented QB sneak.
Daniels is looking at 6 catches for maybe 65 yards. Solid but Clark goes for 5 catches, 40 something yards, 2 TD's.
In the end I go Clark.

The last one I would say is obviously Rhodes, but with my Clark predictions I am puting my foot in my mouth on one of the 2.
But, I feel this game will be high scoring, with an overall balanced attack from both sides, were as i think the Carolina vs. NO game will not feature a lot on the ground.
GB is tied for last in the league against the rush.
Rhodes is a solid backup, "piling up" a score and 75 yards on 25 attempts last week against a Ravens defense that hadn't allowed RB's to go for more than 60 something yards or to score much through the 1st 5 weeks.
Rhodes gets plenty of chances this game even though Indy falls behind early and loses the game by 4.
Figure 16 carries, 80 something yards and a score, along with 3 receptions for maybe 20 yards and a possible score.

Wow.

I can't bench the best WR in fantasy football, Mr. Jennings, so I go with him without thinking, plus if I was thinking, I say this game is a shootout.
If you like a low scoring defensive grind, this is like a bag of burning duece on you front door step, mashed out with your beloved NFL team crocks.
Even if he doesn't score, which he will, he goes well over 100 yards this week.

For the 2nd one, I am sorry to go against the grain, but I go with Braylon Edwards.
Maybe it is just my unwarranted hate for Steve Smith.
Maybe it's my unnatural man love for the face of Yahoo fantasy football (although we haven't really seen his face much on there anymore after his beyond subpar 1st 5 weeks).
Maybe it's because he is so good, and if he didn't have so many drops this season, or more specifically last week he would have 2 or more scores and his team would have 1 extra win.
Maybe it's because I think the wheels are coming off Washington's defense, if, in all probability, just for a week or two.

I have a similar RB sit/start question...I've got Graham, Dunn and Mwelde Moore. I'm tempted to start Moore since Parker is not going to play. It's PPR league so would it be okay to start both Graham and Dunn? Or go with Dunn and Moore.

With Marques Colston probable, would you also start Lance Moore or start Josh Reed-Buffalo.

You have to start Moore and Dunn IMO.

Cinncy has a horrific run defense and Moore is a solid back on a team that loves to run the ball.
He is also an awesome reciever out the backfield.
I always liked Moore, since he was a rookie on Minnesota. I felt he never really got a fair shot because of his size, but he has since bulked up.

While it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to start both of them, considering Dunn almost never gets goal line, I would have to go with Dunn.
Tampa is starting to look like Denver fantasy wise. RBBC, with the hot hand getting the majority, all backs getting receptions and the guy that gets the majority of the carries doesn't get the goal line.

I might go with Colston on the 2nd one, but I might want to wait a week to see what he looks like.
Then again it was surgery on his finger, so he should still be in good condition, meaning if he is playing he will make an impact, as long as he can hold onto the ball.
And when he holds onto the ball, he is big time.
Then again NO and Brees are really spreading the ball around, but I feel a lot of that had to deal with Colston and Shockey not playing.

Who do I start, Kyle Orton vs. Minnesota or Jason Campbell vs. Cleveland?

My league scores as following:
6 points for all TD's, completions are .5 points, 50 yards passing per point, 20 yards rushing per point, each rushing attempt is .25 a point, and bonus points of 4 or 6 for either 300 yards or 400 yards passing.

They have scored about 135 and 131 points for the season respectively, good for 9th and 10th overall.

They both have good matchups, who do I go with?

and VC4pres thats a tough one, probably orton since he has been playing well, and it will be tough going for forte

I also would go with Orton over Campbell. Chicago just lost last week to ATL and see them bounce back and their at home.

Yeah, I've been leaning towards Orton most of the week myself.
Minny gives up a lot through the air, and like you said Chicago is at home, trying to bounce back, and Forte will most likely struggle on the ground vs. Minny.
Campbell plays mistake free, and Cleveland looks like a good matchup on paper, but they did play the Giants very well, and I don't think it was a freak thing.
I think Cleveland is gonna start getting back on track, although this would be a tough one for them to win. Washington will probably try to keep it on the ground and let Portis go nuts.
Campbell hasn't thrown an INT or lost a fumble the whole year, and something has got to give.
Then again he should put up decent yardage and a lot of completions.

Yes, I like Dunn better out of Graham and him, but like I said, unless he breaks a long one for a TD, expect Graham to get the goaline duty.
They are both pretty good recievers out of the backfield as well, but vs. Seattle I fully expect both to have big, big days.

I would go with Orton because you don't beat minny by rushing.
