2009 RealGM Vintage League

Post#1 » by J.Kim » Thu Aug 13, 2009 7:33 pm

As BBJ is retired from Mod and hardly appears on these parts anymore, I will be taking over setting up the league this year.

Same deal and same settings as last year.

Draft info:
Wednesday, August 19th, 8:00PM (Subject to Change)

Same deal as last year: preference given to the lifers, spots available for the rabble after. 20-team league. This is THE preeminent RealGM fantasy football league.

Will edit with league settings.
It will be on ESPN this year.

Here are the league settings.

YES!!! I was afraid this league was not gonna happen. Count me in.
First the federal government borrowed money; then gave the money to Bank of America; then I borrowed some of that money from Bank of America and gave it to the federal government; then the federal government gave the money back to Bank of America.

I'm part of the rabble (just starting in FFB this year), but I'd like to try my hand if there will be spots available.

Whoa. I don't think I have the football knowledge to do a league this deep. I think I'm gonna pull out.

If anything, you could always ask another guy to help you out in this league. I can always add a second owner to your team.

J.Kim, it won't let me enter the league, could you send me another invite.

EDIT: Also, since I live in England, what time would the draft be here?

Can we make the draft time earlier? I kinda need to be up early tomorrow and since I live in England I'm 5 hours ahead.

That would be ideal, since I don't see a way to leave the league. If you can see how (or if you're allowed to boot me as commish), let me know. Sorry, this is my first year in FFB and I wasn't prepared to be in a league with so many defensive players. I'm also away on vacation for two weeks starting Saturday, and I'm busy the next two nights (sort of forgot about those things before signing up), and I really don't want to be a lame-duck owner.

That's cool. I can kick you out and replace you with someone else. But I figured perhaps you might want to take part in this with someone else instead.
