Touchdown Only league
I got a draft coming up in a touchdown only league. 6pts per touchdown 0-26yds then 12 pts over 26 yards. What players fall/rise in a league like this? I'm guessing, since Brady was drafted second overall, that brees will be drafted top 5. Chris johnson is likely to drop because of goal line carries while lendale move up. How do you guys rank the top wrs? does T.O. move up because of his redzone abilities? This league turns into a real crapshoot full of hunches after round 6 and it should be interesting.

wow that would be a crap shoot
lendale comes to mind, i guess the backs who get goal-line carries would move up

Re: Touchdown Only league
speaking of crazy rules, one of my leagues (draft is next week) and the scoring is all changed up from the norm.
QB: 1 point for every 30 yds, 7 points for tds, and -2 for ints
RB: 1 point for every 10 yds, 8 points for tds, and 1 PPR (which is new for me, never been in PPR league before)
WR: 1 point for every 20 yds, 9 points for tds
6 points for return tds
i mean it's all off a little bit, who becomes more valuable? the top wr's who score alot of tds obviously
and the backs who catch the ball and score
i'll probably go about it the same way as a normal draft (outside of the PPR thing)

Re: Touchdown Only league
Just had the draft. I got the 5th draft spot. Like i said its a touchdown only league. kicked it off with a shocker while manning, brees, and Brady went 1,2,3. Heres my draft.
1(5). Maurice Jones-Drew
2(16). Andre Johnson
3(25). Anquan Boldin
4(36).Donovan McNabb
5(45). Jason Witten
6(56). Ronnie Brown
7(65). Eagles D
8(76). Devin Hester
9(85). Marshawn Lynch
10(96). Matt Schaub
11(105).Jericho Cotchery
12(116). Shonne Green
13(125). Jason Elam
Which makes my lineup
Qb-McNabb
WR-Andre Johnson
WR-Anquan Boldin
WR-D. Hester
RB-M. Jones-Drew
RB-Ronnie Brown
TE-Jason WItten
Def- Eagles
Kicker-Jason Elam
Bench: Marshawn Lynch, Matt Schaub, Jericho Cotchery, Shonne Green
What do you guys think? this league is so unpredictable but i hope i put myself in a good spot. Did I overdraft on anyone? Any glaring weakness?

Re: Touchdown Only league
I would have made sure to get Moss and/or Calvin Johnson, I think both come close to or above 15 TD's this year.
Like the MJD pick though, although I could see Forte easily getting to 15 total TD's.
I like the Boldin and Witten picks and I am higher on Ronnie Brown than most, think he is a lot more consistent this season and gets a few more touches.
Schaub and McNabb could be nice as well, but health is a factor for those 2 for sure.
