How's this trade? Adrian peterson.

In the patriots league I set up I had the 2nd pick. And grabbed Matt Forte. Recently Peterson, who went 1 was put on the block.
I traded:
Philip Rivers
Reggie Wayne
Jonathan Stewart
for
AP
Good deal for me, or good deal for him? I feel I gave up a little too much, but I have Schaub and Collins as my QB's and now my RB's are stacked.

What does the rest of your team look like? Any decent lottery tickets still on the wire? I'm hoping you went with WRs in 2nd and 3rd and got Rivers later, otherwise, I'm scared to see your WR depth. Also, I wouldn't bank on Collins as your backup QB if Schaub goes down. Which QBs are available?

Schaub is a good fantasy QB, but he's always getting hurt.
I would love to know hwat your WR's loook like?

Sorry, forgot about telling ya how my team looks.
It's a two QB league, here are my qb's after the trade
Matt Schaub
Kerry Collins
Bench: JaMarcus Russell
And here are my wide receivers.
Andre Johnson
Chad Ocho Cinco
Percy Harvin
Bench: Steve Smith (NYG)
I'll either have Steve Smith or Anthony Fasano as my W/T.
The trade is pending right now, so I will have two roster spots left to pick up a receiver and a QB if need be.
BTW, my RB's now look like this
Adrian Peterson
Matt Forte
Bench: Donald Brown. LeSean McCoy.
One of those, probably brown will be my W/R.

If you start two QB's, I am not a fan of your trade at all. Kerry Collins is not a starting fantasy QB and is damn close to not a starting NFL QB.

In a league that starts 2 QB's, why not start Russel here? Granted, he may not be that great, but he's been given the green light and every opportunity in the world. He's gonna keep throwing the ball (hopefully to Zach Miller for my sake

), and he's bound to rack up yards.

Russel blows chunks. Did you not see the Chargers game on MOnday?
Where as some players are a threat to score on every posession, he is a threat to score for the opposing team on every posessin.

While Russel does blow chunks, he is still guranteed to be Oakland's QB barring injury. And in a 2 QB league (my guess is it has around 10 players), that means most people are going to have a less than stellar QB on their team. Both Collins and Russel were around the 20th rank in points last week, and Russel obviously has room to improve on that performance. Plus, the coach seems like he will stick with him through thick and thin (mostly thick!).
