Week 3 sit/start

Post#1 » by CrookedJ » Wed Sep 23, 2009 1:11 pm

My money league team has Houshmandzadeh and John Carlson, obviously I'm pretty concerned about Hasselback being out!

I start 3 RB's 3 Wr's and two flex. Return yards count, with bonus for 100 yards in a game ( drool)

RB:
Deangelo Williams
Felix Jones
Darren Sproles

WR
Boldin
Harvin
Housh

Flex: I need 2 of
Jonathan Stewart
Cadillac Williams
Bernard Berrian
Chansi Stuckey

Leaning towards Stewart and Berrian. Williams has started past 2 weeks. Also thought about sitting Housh though with Seneca Wallace getting the start.

I wouldn't mess with your starting backs. Cadilac is going against the Giants and Stewart isn't the starter, although Dallas' D looks like crap.

Need to choose one:

Ahmad Bradshaw
Addai
Beanie Wells
Leon Washington

I have Addai now, but he hasn't looked good.
First the federal government borrowed money; then gave the money to Bank of America; then I borrowed some of that money from Bank of America and gave it to the federal government; then the federal government gave the money back to Bank of America.

Tennessee is a tough run defense. You sure? He can hurt them in the passing game though.

Bradshaw's going up against TB, is he not?

I'll be honest, I didn't remember they were playing Tennessee, that does change things some.
I don't like any of your backs this week much.
Who are the Cardinals and Colts playing this week?

Larry Johnson @ PHI or Derrick Ward vs. NYG

otherwise known as the poo-poo platter

Either one will not do much, but it seems Larry Johnson is useless at this point.

Percy Harvin

I need a D/ST start or sit recommendation. It's basically this: which opponent is worse?

PHI vs. KC or WSH @ DET?

I think DET is a worse offensive team, but Philly at home versus a less-than-stellar KC team seems like the pick. Any thoughts?

PHI is much more likely to get TO's. Lions are gonna run the ball more than the chiefs.

Hmmm I'd go with Grant based on the sweet matchup and the chance that they are ahead and running out the game.

Brandon Jacobs. Tampa run D is atrocious.

Jacobs. The Giants should put some points up against that TB D so Jacobs should be able to get a score and some good yardage to go with it. Grant would be second. I like Jackson a lot but the Bills will likely have to throw a lot to keep up with Brees and Co.

I need to pick three RBs out of these four...

Forte
MJD
Gore
McGahee

The top three guys there are obvious, but McGahee has been a beast the first two weeks and they have him projected at 23 points for this week right now. Gore doesn't have a great matchup, but I don't think I can sit him, even with Willis projected 8 points higher than him. Not after the first two weeks.

I also need to decide between Dwayne Bowe and Johnny Knox for my 2nd WR slot.

I've got a few of em...

Pick 2: Felix Jones, Brian Westbrook, Pierre Thomas

I've pretty much settled on Jones for sure, but am not sure what to make of the Westbrook and Thomas situations right now.

Pick 1: Tedd Ginn, Steve Breaston, Mike Sims-Walker
