6 points per passing, rushing or receiving TD, -2 per INT, -1 per lost fumble. 1 point per 25 yards passing, 1 points per 10 yards receiving or rushing. No PPR, no bonuses. We play 1 QB, 2 RB, 2WR, 1 W/R flex, 1 TE, 1 K and 1 DEF. Here's Cliff Levingston's team:
QB: M. Schaub
QB: M. Hassellbeck
RB: A. Peterson
RB: K. Moreno
RB: R. Mendenhall
RB: J. Harrison
RB: D. McFadden
WR: L. Fitzgerald
WR: R. White
WR: S. Smith (NYG)
WR: J. Knox
TE: G. Olsen
TE: V. Davis
K: L. Tynes
DEF: NY Jets
DEF: New Orleans
The idea at the start of the season was to play McFadden at RB2 and Moreno at the flex (or vice versa), barring bye weeks and injuries of course. Not a huge deal though as it looks like Cliff Levingston could sub in Mendenhall for McFadden. Although, Steve Smith is a must-play right now, and given the match ups for the next couple weeks, Roddy White is the one to sit. So, Cliff Levingston is thinking about dealing him.
Cliff Levingston is currently tied for 1st with a 3-1 record and the 3rd highest scoring team in the league, averaging over 100 points per game. There's a team that's inexplicably 0-4 with some great running backs but needs help at receiver. Here's what he's got:
QB: K. Warner
RB: M. Forte
RB: F. Gore
RB: P. Thomas
RB: R. Rice
RB: M. Moore
WR: C. Ochocinco
WR: D. Mason
WR: D. Driver
WR: T. Holt
WR: E. Royal
TE: J. Shockey
TE: M. Lewis
K: Vinatieri
DEF: Green Bay
DEF: Jacksonville
Cliff Levingston has two deals out to him. 1. White + Harrison for Pierre Thomas. 2. White + McFadden for Frank Gore. Cliff Levingston would prefer Thomas because his bye will be behind him next week and he's not hurt. But, Gore might come cheaper as he'll be out for the next couple of weeks.
FYI: He countered White + Harrison for Thomas with Forte for Fitzgerald, which Cliff Levingston turned down quickly, but he didn't turn down Cliff Levingston's proposed deal.
What do you think of the proposed deals? Offering too much, too little? Smart on Cliff Levingston's part, or stupid?
Trade?

Re: Trade?
Roddy White is crazy overrated, if you can dump him and a solid running back for an elite, start every week RB, you take it and run.

Both deals got turned down, but he's also got Ray Rice who he said he may be willing to deal for White. What do you think of that?

Why aren't you entertaining Fitz for Forte considering your other receiving options?

Because Cliff Levingston isn't interested in giving up Fitzgerald for pretty much anyone. His upside is way too high. Cliff Levingston will do Roddy White for any one of his backs though (Gore, Thomas, Forte or Rice). Forte is fine but Rice will be good. He's not getting the red zone carries but his offensive line is really good and he's such a threat in their much improved passing game.
After that trade, Cliff Levingston's normal lineup would be:
QB: Schaub
WR1: Fitzgerald
WR2: Smith
RB1: Peterson
RB2: Rice
TE: V. Davis
W/R: Moreno
K: Tynes
DEF: Jets
...with Mendenhall and Knox as the primary backups.
That's DAMN good for a 12 team league.
