Need advice on a trade. UPDATE!

Post#1 » by snapcracklepape » Wed Oct 14, 2009 2:21 pm

In my 10 man league I'm running the following line up.

QB: Matt Schaub, Matt Hasselback
RB: Steven Jackson, Michael Turner, Ray Rice, Pierre Thomas, Darren Sproles
WR: Andre Johnson, Reggie Wayne, Donnie Avery, Bernard Berrian, Antonio Bryant
TE: Vistante Schiancoe

and my Kicker/Defense I switch from week to week.

We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K and 1 DST.

A team has offered me Calvin Johnson for either Ray Rice or Steven Jackson. Is this a trade worth making? Considering my Running Back depth. If so, which back should I trade?

Take that quickly. Turner for Jackson/MSW is a win for you, easily. Knox for Bryant is about even right now, but Bryant should see his value go up while Knox isn't going to get more valuable that he is now.

Would it be ridiculous to offer Ray Rice or Steven Jackson for Randy Moss or like Marques Colston?

I've been offered the following trade

Mike Turner and Antonio Bryant for Fred Jackson, Mike Sims Walker and Johnny Knox.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to accept this trade. I was wondering which one of my backs I could trade for another stud receiver.

Do it and trade Sproles as quick as you can for that stud WR....or you can work the wire....good names every week.....Austin, Maclin, Massaquoi, new names emerging weekly

Kind of ridiculous, yes.....

Ray Rice for Colston would be alright, but try and deal Sproles first

You should maybe try to trade one of your backs for a stud tight end like Dallas Clark.

Trade Advice Needed: PPR League

Both of my TE's are on bye the same week so I should probably move one. I have Kellen Winslow and Heath Miller, both have been studs this year.

Another team offered my Jason Witten for either. Who do I trade for him?

If MegaTron is available you should normally get him and run but he's been nagging with injuries the past 2 weeks so watch out.

If you can give up Steven Jackson for Calvin Johnson. Do it but keep Ray Rice.

How the hell did you get that stud team?

Andre Johnson, S Jax, and Turner were sure first rounders even in 10 team league. Then Reggie Wayne is borderline 1/2 rounder and Thomas is a 2nd or 3rd rounder. Who the hell were the other teams picking?

I had the 6th pick in a 10 man league.

I drafted Steven Jackson 6th, Andre Johnson 15th, Reggie Wayne 26th, then Pierre Thomas 35th.

I picked up Ray Rice right after the draft was finished.

Traded Mike Sims Walker, Johnny Knox and Fred Jackson for Michael Turner and Antonio Bryant.

I've now been offered Brian Westbrook and Steve Smith 1.0 for Pierre Thomas and Bernard Berrian. Wondering if I should pull the trigger.

This could be a good buy low for me I guess.

Or would I be better off making a Godfather offer of (Sjax + Thomas) for Fitzgerald or Jax for Calvin Johnson..

Watcha think guys?
