Post#1 » by Cliff Levingston » Wed Nov 18, 2009 8:48 pm

Cliff Levingston's team. No PPR:

QB1: Schaub
QB2: Hassellbeck
RB1: Peterson
RB2: Mendenhall
RB3: Tomlinson
RB4: Moreno
RB5: McFadden
RB6: Fargas
RB7: Sproles
RB8: M. Moore
WR1: Fitzgerald
WR2: R. White
WR3: Chambers
TE: V. Davis
K: Tynes
DEF: New Orleans

The deal offered is Hassellbeck and Moreno for Chester Taylor and Ben Roethlisberger.

None of the players involved looks like they will get a crack in your starting lineup from here on out unless there are injuries. That being the case I would probably do it. Big Ben has had a good year and is an upgrade over Hasselbeck IMO. Moreno has been a disappointment and you're not starting him anyways, although I'd rather have him than Chester. If AP goes down then you don't get completely screwed over so that's what gives you incentive to have Chester much like what you're doing with LT/Sproles.

I assume bold means # of starters? I'm not sure it really suits your needs. Schaub has great matchups the rest of the year, so I'm not sure you're ever benching him for Ben, esp. once the weather gets a little colder. Moreno is obviously going to get more work than Taylor. It's decent value, but I'm not sure I see the point.

Same here. Cliff Levingston declined it. Moreno could see a heavier workload is last week is any indication, so Cliff Levingston proposed McFadden/Fargas for Taylor. If that's accepted, then Cliff Levingston will have his top 3 running backs handcuffed, which is a nice thing.

Moreno is a must keep if you have a deep squad unless the deal is too good to pass up.
LT is far from a lock starter and if you make the fantasy playoffs, Moreno has 2 real good matchups in week 15 and 17.
