Not Good: Milloy arrested for DUI

Atlanta Falcons veteran safety Lawyer Milloy was arrested for driving under the influence early Monday in Gwinnett County, jail records show.

Milloy, 34, also was charged with speeding.

Details of the arrest were not immediately available, but according to the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Department Web site, Milloy, who has a Buford address, was booked into the jail about 4:30 a.m.

Bond on the two charges was set at $1,601.

The Falcons on Sunday played at Tampa Bay, losing 24-9.

Milloy, who played on two Super Bowl teams with the New England Patriots before joining the Falcons, is considered a leader both on the field and in the Falcons locker room.

He’ll earn $1.7 million under a contract that expires this year, and he has said he would like an extension for the 2009 season.

Yeah really! Not as bas as some will make it out to be. The thing is the news made sure to mention that he was leaving a strip club...assuming it was the pink pony? Lawyer Milloy lives in the Buford area, and I have even seen him with a drink at the Taco Mac by Mall of Georgia. I'm not going to criticize the guy, but the fact that he's one of our leaders does bother me, so win this week and everything will be forgotten.
