Great win vs New Orleans.
Cincy will be just as difficult and the injuries we have suck.
Cincy is a five point favorite.

They said Jake Matthews could play on Sunday if he isn't too sore. Just an ankle sprain, but we might hold him out this week just to be sure.

Matthews will be needed for our offense to run smoothly.
I am not trying to be negative by any means with my comments but I refuse to set myself up for let downs after only one win. Sure, it was huge win vs. the Saints, but I need to see more. A win this week would be huge for me so I hope we're fully prepared.

Geno Atkins and Vontaze Burfict might miss the game against us. If they do then we should win by double digits, that's how much those guys mean to that defense.

I honestly think we have this one in the bag.

Our DBs should hold keep down the big plays. Our improved run defense will make that team one-dimensional.

And our offense should drop 21+ points. In a tight game, I trust Matty Ice to finish strong more than I fear Andy Dalton.

And I was wrong on all three counts.

Man, that was a straight @$$ whooping by a much better team.

Here's to us rebounding and smacking down the Buccaneers on Thursday...

They didn't have their 3 best pass catchers and still won. Koetter's play calling was atrocious.

At least it wasn't an NFC loss and they aren't coming in from the west coast to play at home Thursday... watch the TB offense do well.

Getting kinda sick of the media completely disregarding our win against the Bucs as just the Bucs being bad. It's hard to drop 56 through 3 quarters against any NFL team.

It's frustrating as fans, but we cannot allow the media to bring us down, so our team just needs to continue to produce on both sides of the ball.
The Minny game should be good.

I'm still not completely sold on our team until we beat a solid team on the road. With that said, there are MANY things to be excited about on our offense. Our defense needs to step it up a bit, mainly our pass rush and run D.

Do you consider the Giants or Ravens solid teams? If not then it'll be a while until we face a solid team on the road (week 10 against the Panthers).

HMFFL, any interest in my proposed wager for next week? Hawks t-shirt to the winning team.

Aside from our offensive line injury battles against the Vikings yesterday, our defense was just exposed... I mean, we knew our defense wasn't gonna be anything to write home about, but what's frightening is that our defense was even worse than we thought it was. So Giants? Ravens? How about the Minnesota Vikings?

Our coaching staff has its fair share of blame, but if we don't make a roster move to acquire some talent on the defensive side of the ball, there will be more than enough blame to share with Dimitroff and the rest of the front office as well.

Minny destroys us and they get destroyed by Green Bay last night. Teddy sat but still.

I hope we show up against the Giants this week.

The Giants are favored by 4.5 points.

The Vikings rallied the troops last Sunday and got whooped on TNF. Yep that was frustrating to see, not the game overall, but how Atlanta got ran the hell over, but MInn can't do move the ball vs GB. Atlanta is pretty much 2-2 1/2 on the season. That feels like a half loss.
