Arthur Blank has become increasingly frustrated with the play of the Atlanta Falcons over the past two seasons.

Mike Smith is not expected to return next season, according to a source.

Blank is considering a move for a big-name head coach to help the Falcons more into the new stadium currently under construction.

“Arthur has an angry side to him,” the source said. “He can turn on someone and he can turn quickly. He's not nearly as mellow as his public perception would make you think.”

I hope Blank realizes that Thomas Dimitroff also needs to go.

Wish list:

Jon Gruden
Jim Harbaugh
Todd Bowless (Cardinals D coordinator)
Gus Malzahn (though, this won't happen)

My top 3:

Bill Cowher
Jim Harbaugh
Whoever the offensive coordinator in Denver is.

Had this happened last offseason, I was a big proponent of hiring Ken Whisenhunt.
