I can see 10-6 if we address Linebacker early on in the draft, and Beasley takes that next step as a pass rusher. We must make the GA Dome into the fortress for that to happen.

Game in New Orleans week 3 is a Monday Night game and their 10 year anniversary of the Gleason punt block. I would love for us to completely spoil that day for them.

If Matt Ryan does he'll forever be loved in the ATL.

Preseason for us begins today.
We host Washington and we're favored to win by 3 points.
I intend on being at this game so I hope the first half is actually good.

Two 3 and outs for the offense with Matt Ryan under center wasn't inspiring (to be fair the first drive started at the 1), but the defense was solid for the most part. Beasley drew a hold (should've drawn another one as well), and showed off that spin move to apply pressure and force and inc on a 3rd down. Deion Jones and DeVondre Campbell were impressive, while Aldrick Robinson and JD Mckissic might've just made the team.

I've fallen into complete and utter apathy with this team. I've been a die-hard fan since 1997, and this is the first year I've honestly just not cared about the future or the present of this team.

They're not contenders, they're not building a great squad for the future. They are just plugging holes on a ship trying desperately to stay adrift.

I see Matty Ice's 'Prime' years going to waste...and Julio Jones's also. And that frustrates me. Greatly.

I'm lukewarm on Dan Quinn...but of greater concern is Kyle Shanahan as Offensive Co-coordinator. I don't think his system perfectly fits Ryan's skillset. And we lack top talent across the offense to overcome deficiencies in play-calling and QB-fit.

I need to see better pass protection and execution from the 1st team offense moving forward. Otherwise, it could be a long season.

I believe we hype our coaching staff up too much.
Coach Smith gave us one of our most exciting years in history but we treated him like a God. Coach Quinn gets similar treatment, but if we have a poor season, I hope we put some pressure on him. Now, firing him is possibly an overreaction, but if we wish to have success, we must stop giving our coaching staff the treatment that we've been giving them.

Last night at the game was fun for the most part.
The slow start was concerning since our key players started the game.

My seats are located four rows from the field. A Falcons fan wanted to stand during the game, but Washington fans behind him went to security about it, and security informed the Falcons fan that he needed to sit. Amazing! We cater to our opponents fans and no wonder our fans are often told how bad they're.

This Thursday we go to Cleveland for our second preseason game.
Hopefully we can get a few camera shots of RG3's new girlfriend since that seems to be a hot topic in the media. JK

Cleveland is favored to win by 2.5 points

LOL

RG3, like Kyle Shanahan, seems to bring drama with him wherever he goes.

Even to Northeast Ohio.

I want Freeney to put Griffith into the ground...

Unleash DWIGHT!!!!!

Dominate defensively...

and let's see the 1st Team Offense get at least a single 1st down.

A Week One loss sees us in need of improved execution in the red-zone as well as fewer penalties.

Now we're headed to face an improving, young Raiders team in Oakland. We need to get this win next week.

Big bounce back win against Oakland.
New Orleans is this week on Monday Night football so it's obviously a huge game for us.
The Saints are a 3 point favorite.

Falcons spoil New Orleans' 10-year anniversary, and win an exciting shootout.

Kyle Shanahan has been putting on a play-calling clinic these past two weeks. Major props to him.

Indeed. KS earned quite a bit of criticism with the way he handled himself last season, as well as his play-calling. With the offense now humming along and Matty Ice the top rated passer in the NFL...he is clearly deserving of praise.

We've racked up yards and points against the two worst defenses in the league in the last couple of weeks. Now our offense gets its toughest test of the young season facing off against a top-10 defense from CAROLINA.

Great win against Carolina.
We took Cam out.

Matt Ryan is being mentioned in the MVP discussions but it's a long season.

Denver will be a true test for our offense this week.
I look forward to winning as a big underdog.

3.5 sacks for Vic Beasley. This was the coming out party I was waiting for, hopefully the light turned on and this is a sign of things to come. Hugh Douglas at 92.9 thinks so, and when he talks defensive line it's smart to just sit back and listen.
