We host Green Bay this week and we're favored by 2.5 points.
The roof is suppose to be open as long as weather permits.

With Schrader hurt and Ty looking decent against GB this move looks genius right now. Hats off to Dimitroff, these are the types of moves a SB contender makes.

2-0 heading into Detroit. If we win that one I see 5-0 going into the Patriots clash.

Threw 3 pics against the Lions, one a pic 6, two off the hands of the Sanu/Coleman, and we still found a way to win on the road, with some help from instant replay. Not gonna apologize for the way we won, all I see is 3-0 with Buffalo coming to town next week.

KC and us are the only two teams with a perfect record.
Let's build to what has started off good so far and let's get the win against Buffalo.

Atlanta QB throws an incomplete pass. It bounces around on the ground, Buffalo picks up the incomplete pass
and returns it for a touchdown. Gee. Ain't life sweet....

Blew a 17-point lead to Miami today. Maybe the worst loss in Dan Quinn's tenure here outside the Superbowl.

Why? Could it be that the entire Falcon team is out of shape? Were they a half step behind, on both offense
and defense? In the second half, the offense simply died on the vine. Was this due to the Dolphins making
adjustments and the Falcons didn't, or was it something else?

Because of the total collapse of the Falcons offense, the defense were forced to stay on the field and, the
longer this went on, the more their breath came shorter and shorter and they had no strength left to face
their opponent.

Where was the run game late in the 4th quarter? Matty Ice forced in a pass, it was intercepted and any chance
for a three point, tying field goal, was lost. History, the Super Bowl, repeated its self.

 :(

There seems to be no creativity in this offense. It's just basic routes and runs, there are no surprises. At some point you've got to surprise the defense with something.

Need to start getting Julio more touches. He's the best in the game and we're using him as a decoy. Sure he's bracketed but there's way to scheme around that, look at what Pittsburgh does with Antonio Brown.

This team is at a cross roads right now. Beat New England and these past two weeks are going to be pretty much forgotten, lose and the spiral is on.

Some bad losses.
Buffalo and now Miami. We lucked out and beat Detroit weeks ago, but while I prefer to stay positive, I must say, that the future looks suspect. A big win against New England would be nice!

Could things have gone worse? What happened in the second half of the latest Super Bowl continued
in the fog Sunday night. Most agree that our loss in the SB was the poor play calling that took Atlanta
out of field goal range. Had they got those three points, they win. We know. They didn't.

Sunday night's game made the Falcons look inept. Their opponent looked like what they are, the champions.
Their entire team and the head coach and his entire staff showed their championship standing.

The Falcons, their head coach and his assistants, sure were made to look like they didn't know what they
were doing. Atlanta sent their offensive coach to the 49ers to be their head coach. Apparently, we went
from bad to worse when we replaced him.

When a team falls flat on it's face and can't get up, as apparently we have, you can't fire the entire team,
much as we want to after Sunday night. What can be done? Will it? Probably not.

When Atlanta had the ball on the 10 inch line and it's first down, what are the odds that they get a TD?
Well, they gave the ball back to their opponent when it was on the seven yard line at the end of their
final, 4th down play. That seemed to be the picture of the game. Blocked field goal. Missed field goal.
So many things went wrong.

The majority of NFL teams have looked suspect this season.
We on the other hand have looked bad all season long and nothing appears to be changing for the better.

We go on the road to face the NY Jets now. It's no an easy win by any means and NY is favored by 4 points.
The 4 points is probably out of respect for making the Super Bowl last season.

A win over the NYJ is a must win game for me tomorrow.
New Orleans is a 9.5 favorite against Chicago.
Tampa Bay is a 2 point favorite against Carolina.

Same wonderful pass defense by the birds today. Jets drive 75 yards, unmolested, to open the game.

Gee. Imagine that!
