Combining an otherworldly defensive player like Suh with defensive mastermind Dan Quinn could make some scary results.

Dontari Poe is expected to hit free agency after a forgettable year with the Falcons, leaving a massive void which needs to be filled immediately. The Falcons could certainly use an injection of nastiness on a defensive unit that looked soft in 2017.

3) Atlanta Falcons: The Falcons are losing both Dontari Poe and Ahtyba Rubin to free agency and would welcome an upgrade in Suh to a defense that ranked ninth in the NFL against the run in 2017. The issue here is cap space: Atlanta doesn't have much to work with, and Suh shouldn't be expected to play for anything less than $12 million per season after making $20 million annually in Miami.

Dallas is out of the running according to reports. Suh visits New Orleans next, followed by Seattle, and after that we'll see where the overpaying comes from (NY Jets, Chicago?).
