2024 Draft Watch

Somehow, at the bye, we are both one game out of the division lead and on pace for a top-10 draft pick?!?

Nix, Jayden, Penix, and Sanders will all be great NFL quarterbacks but if the Falcons miss out on them in the 1st or 2nd round, I think two guys could be the next later round Brock Purdy and thats Sam Hartman and Michael Pratt

Hartman or Pratt in the 5th or 6th round would be a great pick up for the Falcons.

The chances all four of them will be great is very doubtful.

Do you not like Maye?

If the NFL draft was today we would probably be able to drat Penix but I expect his stock to only go up.

I don't really like Maye. He reminds me of Daniel Jones, Mitch Trubisky, Sam Darnold.

I would take Penix or Jayden at #8 or Nix in the 2nd round. But like i said, a good gamble would be Hartman or Pratt in the 5th or 6th round

I doubt Penix or Daniels will be available at 8th.

We should pursue the first overall pick.
It's worth inquiring about it.

Texas QB Quinn Ewers enters the draft. He knows he's not starting next season so why bother with the portal..lol

He really needs more time to develop.

The smart move would be to get Dallas Turner, but the UGA fan boy in me, wants Brock Bowers so bad!

I would rather get a QB in the 5th or 6th round, but I also wouldn't be upset if Falcons end up taking Penix or Jayden if one of them falls to #8.

Best move would be to trade down, but that is always easier said then done.

We will see.....

After the Bears and Commanders, only the Pats and Giants could go QB.

Would the Pats be willing to pass up on MHJ and would the Giants already be looking to move on from Jones (similar to the Alex Smith Mahomes situation)?

Shilo Sanders shoots his shot with Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank: "No. 21 would be great"

Buffs defensive back was ready to suit up with his pops old number immediately

Dallas Turner seems like he will be available and that probably won't be the case for Bowers. I do hope Bowers falls to us if possible.

Trading down is easier said then done, but maybe the Bengals, Jags, or Lions would be willing to move up to #8 since all those teams are looking to win now.

^ I wouldn't do Bijan, i would do London or Allgeier.

like i posted on the other thread, trading up for Caleb is worth looking into, just like it was worth looking into moving up to get Julio.

If the Falcons can find a way to get McConkey in the 2nd or 3rd round and then the Falcons can have a big 3 of Caleb, Bijan, and Ladd, it would be a very interesting young core.
