I hope David is able to play for Cincinnati again. I really miss watching him on the field because he gave it all every second of the game.

CINCINNATI (AP) -- Bengals linebacker David Pollack, who broke a bone in his neck during a game last season, isn't expected to play this year.

"He is working extremely hard and will continue focusing his efforts on rehabilitating with our medical staff," coach Marvin Lewis said.

"I'm grateful for my recovery to this point, and I'm working every day to get my full strength back," Pollack said. "Any final decision on football is still down the road for me."

If he is smart he will retire from playing pro football for ever. he broke his neck, so risking hurting it again by taking hits is a BAD idea.

why is this in the atlanta forum? is he a big star in georgia? i know he went to UG but wow!

He was the face of the team when he was here and he also went to high school in the state.
