I'm praying for Hall to bring his A game and to stay focused. Hall has played Steve Smith well in the past. Don't go to his house to eat the night before, don't shave words in your hair, just prepare and play the game.

If we can contain Steve Smith we should be ok.

Agreed,no hangin out or runnin your yap! Their RB's hasn't done well like ours, but leave it to them Foster might break off a long one like he did when he was questionable, lol.

Hall looks forward to match with Smith

"You have to do what you have to do to get yourself prepared to play a game," he said Wednesday. "At the same time, you have to go out on the field and back it up. Right now I'm just excited about going out there and getting some balls thrown my way. The last two weeks I haven't had hardly any balls thrown my way."

thank you Norwood, finally doing something positive on special teams. their was a hold, but it wasn't his fault, but at least now the bird have a playmaker out there.

My personal favorite was the panther player going to "celebrate" and running into Abraham and pushing him tot he ground. No call.

Falcons dominated the game. Panthers and Refs both had bad games. both the Panthers and Refs should be ashamed of themselves. Panthers should be embarrassed for getting a win like that.

We got robbed no doubt, but there's still no excuse for Foster running like he did on that last drive. That was just pathetic. I doubt that would have happened though if the refs did their jobs. Harrington had his way all day with the Panthers, their defense is terrible.

We did not get robbed. Good teams don't let the refs do that to them. If D Hall was more mature he would have known to shut his mouth. This team was absolutely disgraceful today. We are soft, have no leader, and no soul as a football team. I have never been this embarrassed as a Hawks fan as I am right now about this Falcons "team."

I have to disagree. This most definately constitutes a robbery. The game was turned, not by the players, but the refs.

Hall got called for a 15 yard penatly for basically jamming Smith at the line. The shot was to his chest, at the start of the play with smith coming off the ball. There was nothing even slightly illegal about that. The only reason for the flag was that there was some jawing going on before the play.

Then they call Hall for jawing with Smith after the next play. Only problem is that Steve Smith was on the Falcons side of the ball, well after the play, jawing with a defensive player. Hall was where he was supposed to be, Smith wasn't. Smith was SUPPOSED to be twenty yards the other way down the field. Hold the Panthers to a field goal there and you are looking at a different game.

It turned on god aweful horrible calls by the ref.

Yes, the offense was passive in the second half, and that is play callings fault, but they still should have won.

Hall is going to take alot of heat for this but IMO he doesn't deserve it.

Your first mistake is thinking this is supposed to be a good team.

Birds got robbed because those calls where flat out cheating.... it is hard to win when the refs spot the other team 7.

I don't think that, my point is that we are a bad team and that's why we lost. As for the penalties on D Hall I will agree the hands to the face penalty was crap but that was a different drive. As a pro he needs to know better and know when to talk and when to shut up. I don't know if it was a bad call because I don't know what he said, but he shouldn't have ever put himself in that position.
