Roddy White wants to be like Chad Johnson

White plans ahead for next touchdown

Third-year wide receiver Roddy White is off to the best start of his career and starting to feel a little like Cincinnati wide receiver Chad Johnson.

At the end of his 69-yard touchdown reception last week, White did a head-over-heels flip into the end zone. He received minimal style points from wide receivers coach Paul Petrino. Feeding off that, White said he has already planned his celebratory action for his next score.

"I plan on scoring this week, and I do have a name for this new one," White said, refusing to reveal his scheme. "I told Coach [Paul Petrino] if I score twice this week, I'm going to land the flip on the second one. I'm going to land it because they questioned my athletic ability on the first one."

I'm all for it if Roddy can be consistent at it.

Roddy, how about you actually focus on catching the ball and doing well?

This doesn't bother me at all. I could careless about the celebrations, but this shows that Roddy is gaining confidence, which is really the only thing he was missing in his first 2 seasons.
