Dennis Dixon on Radar

Post#1 » by Harry10 » Mon Oct 1, 2007 12:43 pm

he is not on the Falcons' radar, but he is on mine.

i first saw Dixon in the Michigan game, and he really caught my attention.

then i saw him last saturday against Cal. he didn't have a great game, he threw two picks, but he did have an okay game, 70% completions, and over 300 yards.

6'5, Vick speed, very accurate, and can throw the bomb when he has to.

if the bird decide to go with OL or DB in the first round, i wouldn't mind if they took Dixon in the 2nd or 3rd round.

Falcons need to start looking at this guy.... i'm a huge Woodson fan, but i'm starting to think that the Falcons should go after Long or Dorsey in the first, and then get Dixon in the second round if he is still available (but the way Dixon has been playing, i wouldn't be surprised if he made it in the first round.)

Harry, what are the chances of him going in the first round? He may blow people away at the combine.

I like what I have seen out of him so far and he should be exciting to watch him against USC this weekend.

i really hope that Petrino's bias doesn't have the the Falcons picking the 4th best QB in the draft, and passing up on guys like Woodson, Dixon, or Ryan.

Ryan is the only QB in the draft better than Brohm.
