If this is true, I have zero respect for Petrino

Harrington deserves to be the starter. Leftwich lost us the game against Tennessee, and is simply not better than Joey.
Unreal.

Yeah Bobby's wrong for this, I don't care what Harry thinks.
You don't treat your QB this way after your stood by them for most of the year and especially after they have won the last two games. It's not like we beat top tier teams, but they are still wins, and you don't resort back to Leftwich whenever he's healthy.
I wanted Leftwich to start when he did before, but at this point, I don't agree with Bobby and Joey should be very upset at him.

^ well we all know that you have a bias towards Harrington.
but their is nothing that Joey did in the last two games that earned him the starting spot.
and to be quite frank about it, Byron can exicute alot more plays than Joey.

Joey was the qb that led the team to these straight wins though. If you lose a team a game there is no reason why you should become the starter once you come back from and injury. I can understand this being true if Peyton gets injured for a couple of weeks and his backup leads the team to two straight wins, then he comes back. But Byron is not Peyton.

33/51 330yards 1TD 1INT in two games.
these are not good numbers, i don't now where this bias is coming from
to make is simple, Joey hurts the team.
i know that their is a bias towards Harrington, but we can all agree that the defense had two good games and Joey did not have good games against the 49ers and Panthers.
i don't know this to be true, but will bet that the guys in the locker room want Byron in their instead of Joey, and they see Leftwich as their QB.

You have no idea what you're talking about. Byron has been with the team for a shorter period of time, gotten less reps with the first team, LOST us a game, and had WORSE numbers than Harrington!
Byron is terrible, and neither one of them are the long term answer.
But Joey gives us the better chance to win right now.

Harrington has zero respect in the locker room, which he lost all on his own.
you must have not watched the Titans and Saints game... so i will tell you, Harrington was losing in the Titans game, and that is why he was pulled out, it had nothing to do with injury, it had all to do with performance. then in the Sainst game, Byron was winning it for the Falcons, then left due to injury, then Joey came in and lost it for the birds.... sorry to break it to you
Byron is flat out better than Joey. and Joey has lost his job, all by himself, because of his limited talent, and not any outside factor.

Um, why are you linking me to a blog?
Byron lost us the Tennessee game - airmailing all of his passes, two to wide open receivers in the end zone. Maybe you weren't watching?
Byron was bad in Jacksonville, is worse now and is not the right QB for this team.
I'm really not enjoying the precedent Petrino must be setting with the players. I've been a big supporter up until this point, but this is crazy.

i hate to break it to you, but Harrington was bad in Detriot and Miami. and if Byron is not the right QB for this team, then why is the head coach, a former QB coach, have Byron as his #1?
yeah, i know Byron looked rusty in his first game back, but then after a week, he was able to do something Harrington could not do with this team, move the ball and get a touch down. then Harrington came back in , in the Sainst game and looked like the same old Joey.
yeah, i know you hate Petrino, that is because you have a bias towards Joey, and he sat his sorry as down.
but i love what Coach Petrino is doing, if you suck, you are not playing. just ask Prater... but i guess lpsevier would want to keep Prater and Harrington and not only that, but also start them.... pathetic
Harrington has lost the locker room, nobody respects him, this is Byron's team now. White and Crump would rather have a guy in their who can get the ball to them.

I could care less about Harrington chief, you're getting it all wrong.
I'm going to guess that you're still a young kid, so I'll give you a pass, but the bottom line remains you have no clue what you're talking about - still.
How would you have any idea what the locker room is like? Besides the numbers don't lie. Harrington has been better than Byron this year. He could not beat out David Garrard for Christ's sake.
The point on the conversation is this - Harrington has been under center the last two games and we've won. Bryon has done NOTHING this year. HE ISN'T ANY GOOD. The team is on a roll, and Petrino is disrupting what little chemistry and momentum we've seemed to develop.
I could care less about Byron, Joey or Bobby - I have no preference for any of them. Neither QB will be here past next year. I just want the TEAM to win.
You seem to be the one rooting for the individual, and not the team my friend.

oh thank god that you do care about the team! and are not just another dumb redneck, although you do say alot of dumb things.
because Garrard did beat out Byron, but are you actaully saying that Harrington could beat out Garrard?!?!
well, since you do care about the team, then you would want Byron behind center, because he is the better QB, and the Falcons only shot. Harrington has sucked the last two games, and their is no he will be able to do anything against Tampa.
i'm not sure if you know this, but Tampa is a division game, so it is very important for Harrington not to screw this up for the team.

I appreciate the dumb redneck remark, you're obviously very mature and classy.
I won't bother responding to the rest of your poorly constructed, ignorant post.
Go Falcons
