Nah some wanted to trade him for Vucevic earlier in the season

Unbelievable what an NBA player can do when he is actually allowed to stay on the court, right?

It amazes me that he had to force his way into the court via the media. Did Kerr not see this same guy in practice the last 2.5 years?

As an old Celtic fan, rookie Bird could barely say anything in interviews. 4th year Bird was saying interesting thoughtful things and giving good interviews.
Minor difference here being Bird’s native language was actually English. JK’s first language is French. English is one of the four languages he apparently speaks.
Bird’s native language was southern Indiana impoverished illiterate white trash extreme hick English which might have made him nervous about speaking to media because coastal people stigmatized Bird’s dialect of English when anybody but a celebrity speaks Southern Indiana hick English.

To be fair to Kerr this isn't the same guy we drafted in 2022. He busted his arse for two years and turned himself into a monster. The growth is off the charts

Hope Looney gets a break from travelling with team, he is struggling to pass the ball also.

This is the best lineup we have. Podz is sharp, defends well, moves the ball and can get his own shot.
Klay in the lineup just slows the flow, is worse defensively.
Klay needs to come off the bench.

I've noticed the last few years a weird block/steals relationship and it's hard to understand what gets called when. I thought he clearly had multiple blocks yesterday but the NBA and Yahoo box scores both had 0

Podz does the little things right, I think his defense gets gross overrated at times and the team is very small on the perimeter with him and the Chef. Ideally you'd want either Moody or a new player via the trade deadline to play there. You get that mystery man with the main 4, and you have a legit shot to do damage or even win a championship.
