It's literally one of the most obvious lineups he could try. I get you want to defend Kerr but that's true coping.

I've also been saying it for months. It's the only potential death lineup this team can put out. You need to develop it.

I’m not defending Kerr. You think it’s the only potential closing lineup. I think curry/buddy/moody/wiggins/dray is our best lineup. They should develop that one.

I'm not opposed to that. Have they ever tried *that* one? Can we have two different very obvious lineups? Yes, yes we can.

the cleaning the glass lineup data is pretty stark in this regard. Sure it's early and small sample size and all but as CDM said earlier (or different thread) the steph/buddy/wigs/dray quartet is highly positive. When they play without JK/Melton/TJD, they're a +56.5 over 105 possession (and cleaning the glass excludes garbage time stats). Essentially, those 4 with Loon/GP2/Moody/Podz/Kyle/Lindy as the 5th are all +43 or more net rating.

You made my point for me. If you take out the starting center and put in the best player off the bench (it was almost always Iggy back then) that's exactly how Kerr always did it.

The best 5 could be Steph/Moody/Wiggins/JK/Draymond


As far as I can tell 20 games into the season we still have not seen that lineup and we have never seen it in three years despite seeing countless other lineups vomited up by Steve Kerr.
