no.
the (lousy) attitude has been a problem as well. that's not "a bit of ticker in the chest". he's playing bad on both sides of the ball, not just offensively, and rather than be humble and spit blood on the court he acts like he's a 4 time champions who just led the team to a title. either he understands who the f*** he is, definitely not an all-star, or he can go to hell together with his demeanour.

PS the reactionary board hate has a name and a surname: joe lacob. many on this board predicted this, so it shouldn't be a surprise at all. when you exalt a player beyond his real virtues and this player underperforms, this kind of reaction is inevitable. especially if the attitude of this player stinks.

Ok your off the podz-train. Good for you. I'm not willing to hate on the guy just yet.

Some players take the hit. Some dive for the ball on the ground and some don't. Guy has been playing with a broken nose while plenty of huge salary star players sit with "whathefckever". Attitude aside, if you don't think bp has ticker your a bat or box-score watcher.

who said he has no ticker? he has ticker, but he acts like he's the main guy on the team, there is a difference between "having ticker" and being arrogant without having the chops.
and what is supposed to mean "attitude aside"? it's the main point. the fact that has been playing with a broken nose ain't mean much too, he's not the first player nor the last player who has played with a broken nose. and if some huge salary star player sit out with "whathefckever" it's their problem, it doesn't make podz and his lousy attitude shining more.

So YOUR argument is he is underperforming and has a lousy attitude? Yes to the first and no to the second. He is arrogant and over-confidant. Let's hope so and welcome to the NBA.

MY argument is he is a young player on a measly contract who actually plays HARD. His shot has gone awol and that's the problem. He is not some saboteur in the ranks ruining the org. If you don't like the minutes distribution blame Kerr but hating on podz ain't it.

Maybe explain all these attitude problems and we'll go from there.

I still like Podz, I just wish Kerr wasn't relying so heavily on him (although the Melton situation makes the choices a lot more difficult). Not fair to him or the team. He's a second-year player who is going through a slump and still learning, and if he does have a bit too much of an "I'm all that" attitude, that can also be explained by youth. Chances are good he's going to be better and hopefully, a little more humble as he matures. That being said, I'm not valuing him that highly, not projecting him as a starter, and wouldn't hesitate to put him in a trade if that's what gets it done. I think he was a nice pickup at #19 but not a cornerstone of the franchise, which is what you would expect from a pick at that tier.
