it's easy to misinterpret what people say on a post. You did it just now: I do think the metrics are pretty accurate and hold value. I did not say they were 'ahead of the warriors' actions.' that's you mis-representing what I said; feel free to re-read it, I'll highlight the part that you got wrong: "Because you called out 'several things' doesn't mean the team didn't know about it."

I guess it is easier for some than others, considering I said that I present these arguments before the team ever takes action. Me. I said it. Kinda mockingly, since you were giving me credit for these things being right, and I am saying them before they are implemented most times? I dunno. Really just ruins it explaining it

another part you misinterpreted, or more likely, twisted to fit your strawman - I am NOT willing to assume that "every time they don't listen to the data is because of some people-managing thing" and I do NOT assume it "is the correct thing to do."

Do you understand what a hypothetical is? How about this, since I'm apparently giving you another chance again - read what I wrote again, and pretend I didnt respond to you. See if you can take emotion out before you respond. Because this is an extremely ironic thing to write after your last paragraph. Search for the word "if"

i'm saying to a hammer, everything looks like a nail and, in this analogy, you're the hammer and everything is obvious on SS.

I apologize for giving people insight into something they might not have access to otherwise. Or you can just not respond. I promise you, I'd be ok with it.

I have no idea how well you work with colleagues. Considering you still have SS access and some sources in the org, I'm guessing you do fine with folks you consider peers. It's clear you don't feel that way about the folks on this board from the way you talk down to those who disagree, even slightly.

I disagree with people constantly. I think you're talking about you, and I wont waste much more time on it. People who willfully change arguments, or have trouble understanding stuff but make no effort to do better? Sure, I'll talk down to that. Kinda deserve it, IMO. Its exhausting explaining some of these things but most people can handle statistical corrections, even if it contradicts what theyve seen. But as long as they are either cool about it or trying to learn, happy to help. Others are just exhausting for whatever reason and end up on the foe list, where I don't respond to them. Since this is now clearly about me on a board that isn't, I'll put you back there and we can all move on

The fact that you refer to folks as 'foes' on a message board is quite telling

“You come from an organization like (Oklahoma City) and you can immediately see it in training camp,” Green said of Waters. “Always knows where to be. Knows defensive rotations and assignments. Knows how to get to space. He’s playing confident. We’re going to need him to play confident. We have the utmost belief in him.”

I don't hear Draymond talking like this about Moses Moody.

That’s because Moody didn’t come from a strong organization like OKC.
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

lol thanks for clearing that up

I actually wasn't aware of Catapult being involved now. Never heard of them even.. weird because VU uses lidar tech last I heard which reduced the need for physical tracking material

aren't wearables for things like blood pressure, heart rate, etc? Didn't know lidar was able to do that sort of thing

Moody is really having a rough stretch. Super bad timing for him to be on it.

Cant believe we are using so much of our offense on jk, podz, and waters.

Re: his claim -

I dunno about EPM being the most accurate, maybe public facing? But it is kinda close to what I've seen as well.. notable differences:

Dray, Looney, GP2, SloMo are higher (at least +1.0)
Podz, TJD and Melton are lower (at least -1.0)

Basically with the tracking data I've seen, the rankings are: Curry/Wiggins/Dray/Looney/Hield/GP2/SloMo/Melton/JK/Moody & Lindy tied/Podz/TJD

updated:

Curry team high +132 despite keep losing
Green 2nd +104
Hield 3rd +81, when buddy plays with Curry and Green he is effective
Wiggins +50, solid but he cannot lift the team alone

Waters +47, barely any playing time but considering he is 13 men he is doing well
Looney +36, needs to play him more

Podz now 7th +34, he has been free falling. not even a NBA player at this moment

JK +26, still one dimensional player
TDJ: +6,just horrible, got DNP a few games
GP2 +1, cant make any shots but plays D
Moody -30, going down with the bench
