stat of the day: Looney +6 in 9 mins and did not play a single sec in the 2nd half.

45 mins between TDJ and Schroder. Kerr at his best

Looney was sick. Can't blame Kerr for that one.

People waiting for Kerr to be fired, that is not happening. He is walking on his own, probably with Curry when Curry will retire. This is one of those awkward situations when such winning brings the false sense of security and entitlement when firing him now would be almost PR disaster. He was at the helm of the dynasty. And although he absolutely not the right coach for this team version, he had built such a gravitas and cred on the backs of his HOFs, he is now untouchable because of that. Especially when a couple of them still here. Unfortunately, he will decide when he leaves the Warriors and if Lacob scapegoats anyone, it will be Dunleavy first and foremost. Now we can clearly understand what Myers so coming.

I watched the first half and said to myself "I'm not going to watch the slow disintegration. I checked later and yep....saved myself some pain lol.

Great effort from the guys tonight, it's just a team lacking offensive talent. Given our injuries, the Kings just had clearly better players out there. I enjoyed the Santos & Post minutes, I'd like to see more.

I would not like to see more of that officiating, which was awful and pretty one sided. I'm surprised this forum isn't talking about it, reddit is pretty frustrated as am I. Kings could play physical for no whistle bumping into shooters but we did not get the same grace. 32-13 FTs. We probably need to tank anyway for a pick, so whatever.

Nah man, he was getting hard doubled out to half court all night. No star gets guarded like this, the Warriors have no 2nd option, honestly Wiggins is barely a 3rd option on a good team.

Wild shootout of a game. Fun to watch until the Kings went full Harden. Nice to see the scrubs have some big moments.

Haha, totally, even when they were up almost 20 I never for a second thought they were going to win, that's how bad they are right now. I unfortunately did watch the implosion. How do you shoot 46% from 3 and lose? jfc.

Didn't watch the game but looking at the box it doesn't seem Post was any good. There were a couple of brutal minutes when he was on the floor that won the game for the Kings.

Post was way better than i expected, but i had very low expectations.

Inability to handle blitz defense, and foul hunting by the Kings offense against inexperienced players, are what doomed GS.

He was one of the few bright spots

Those brutal minutes were due to the wings turning the ball over like crazy

Kerr finally split up Steph and Dennis (only 6 minutes on court together) and Steph got loose, forcing Kings to blitz at half court (which SHOULD be a great sign for us).

Hard to really have any coaching lineup complaints in this one, Kerr did great imo.

I thought we should have had a good win against a hot team on the road... unfortunately we lost due to:

- guys not used to playing the patented Dray 4v3 when Steph gets blitzed at half court, caused a ton of turnovers and wasted easy scoring opportunities. In general, we WANT teams to guard Steph that way, it makes for the simplest offense ever... but we were indecisive instead of quickly getting to open 3s and layups. Hard to blame the young guys when teams have done that less and less since it's not a great strategy on defense. I will blame Dennis and GP2 for 9 turnovers though, that's unacceptable. Costly turnovers in the 3rd really killed our momentum (wiggins and Steph had a okay total of turnovers, but a few of them were at the worst time possible).

- Fouls. Kind of tied to the turnovers... but we just got put in awful defensive situation because of the turnovers and then started fouling a ton.

- Not selling fouls. Kings pressured us a ton and probably were hacking as much as we were, but the crowd and hustle made the refs swallow their whistles on that side for some reason... might be time to start exaggerating contact more and flopping even though its not a way our guys have ever played... but its getting old watching guys like Demar whip their head or flail and get a whistle, then we get slapped on arm and leads to a turnover.

TLDR: Sucks we lost due to turnovers/fouls, but that's a rotation and strategy that can keep us competitive for a playoff spot.

Until Green and JK return, every team should blitz Steph and watch our mediocre players fumble around and waste 4 on 3 situations.

This is simply a bad team right now. Not sure what MDJ is waiting for, but I hope it's something spectacular that nobody sees coming. Otherwise, this is just garbage when Steph's not on the floor, and getting JK and Podz back doesn't change that.

Unfortunately, Stephen on the floor is a bad team too. See last 2 games as example.
