I don't know that'll happen given the OKC win but very real possibility

this has to be craziest west we've ever seen

The play in is really causing issues. Like should Dallas / Sacramento really be given a shot to make the playoffs when they’re under .500. Especially when 3-8 is separated by like 2 games. I guess it makes these games meaningful but damn would be sad for the nba if 3-8 don’t make it in. And now 8 has even a less chance to win because of rest.

I'm OK with it. It's designed to incentivize all teams to win enough regular-season games to finish 6 or higher. If you finish 7 or 8 and don't make it, that's not on the system, that's on you. You could have avoided it by winning a couple more regular-season games, ones which were winnable but you just didn't show up for or didn't play hard enough in. And the Warriors have A LOT of those games this year (bad teams and teams missing most of their best players), both before Jimmy and after Jimmy, so they have no one to blame but themselves if they don't make it.

The disparity between the conferences makes it somewhat unfair this year imo.

I am all on board with Jimmy and with he has added to the team and how he has revitalised Curry in particular, but he needs to have Curry to work with as well as Curry needing him imo, and the two most recent losses were without Curry, one of them against a very highly motivated Heat. Sure they lost games they could have won against non elite teams all season pre Jimmy however.

I agree. conference agnostic play-ins would be more fair IMO but that won't happen

Going 3-1 in this stretch was pretty good. Definitely looked like we ran out of gas but hopefully we can refuel before the Clippers game and finish strong beating the Suns, SA, Por
