GPII had a core injury when he was with the Blazers. This doesn't seem like an injury to be taken lightly.

I still think he's a bit miscast, probably a big minute 6th man type guy on a championship roster who can sometimes finish games, but we have a hole in our roster at SG that was never filled when Melton went out.

Obviously everyone is hoping his shooting comes around but I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt going into year 3.

Doesn't really matter. Low ceiling journeyman 8th-9th man type of player that when teams figure him out (like they did more this year) he's toast. I just think it's a talent-limitation thing. If the absolute best best best dream case scenario = DiVencenzo, that's a replaceable player.

Also, do we really need him taking the ball out of Curry, Draymond, and Jimmy Butler's hands? Was so annoying watching him think he was the top dawg in the playoffs just cuz Kerr is his BFF - when on a contender he'd be riding the pine. He should be running the 2nd unit if anything, I don't want to see him with the starters.

What is fascinating is they let Ty Jerome walk and now he is considered like the top backup point guard in the NBA. Ty finished 3rd in 6th man of the year votes and drilled it from 3.

Now the Warriors are looking for another point guard.

My guess is that he would have liked to stay, until they picked up CP3.

Another legacy of the Poole fiasco.
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

Doesn't sound like it.

Ty Jerome on difference between his development with Cavs vs. Warriors: “They just didn’t give me the freedom back in Golden State, that’s all."

Freedom is overrated. Look at the U.S. We exchanged freedom for oppression and we're doing just fine. :nonono:  :noway: :banghead:

You may be right. The reason I still disagree is that at the end of the 23 season, there was a well reported dinner of the big three. They were discussing in detail what they needed to do the next year, and how to prepare differently. The fourth guy at the dinner was Ty Jerome.
