More Wagner for 5M is pretty good value for the Magic. He'd have been pretty good here.

Agree - that's a steal if he stays healthy.

I think he was always staying in fla unless someone paid him 8 figures. I do regret some vet mins we missed out on (like Trent, prince, and mamu) but if we do get big Al and another player at the vet min, we'll have action.

Way things are shaping I can understand the difficult decision between dubs and retirement.

I think the appeal of playing with curry and possibly winning one more chip could trump the itch to retire especially when big al still has a little bit of game left in him.

There’s always the appeal of chasing a ring in Denver or Indy.

But then he’d need his Miss Universe wife to go along with.
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

I dont think the system is appealing for many. If horford wants to win a chip and have an easier transition, then the lakers or nuggets are a simpler path unless we offer the most money.

Not next year with the Pacers. Same as the Celtics without Tatum, no title without Haliburton, and at age 39 particularly if he is already considering retirement he can’t wait until the season after.

Lakers are openly rebuilding, they have no shot at a ring and now have ayton

Openly rebuilding? Did I miss something?

They still have bron, Luka, reeves etc.

Signed ayton and laravia.
Openly pursuing wiggins, melton, horford, etc...
Doesn't sound like they are in a rebuild.

LeBron came out with the "I have no interest in being part of a rebuild" stuff and two days later, they let dfs go. Signing ayton is not exactly a winning move. Best I've heard is they're looking to build around luka like while keeping cap space open for the summer of '27. I wouldn't expect LeBron to finish the season with the Lakers

It’s a wishful attempt at contending but they are really prioritizing longterm flexibility. They are thinking about Luka and Reaves as their long-term building blocks (hence the apparent targeting of LaRavia who is repped By the same agent as Reaves) and hoping this year can catch lightning in a bottle. But I think they know they are longshots to win a title and hoping Ayton works out with the core. Don’t know if the noise around LeBron leaving is real or not but his guy Windhorst is expressing that while he is ok with Luka, he wasn’t stoked about the move. Talks of his leaving aren’t materialized out of nowhere as he holds tremendous influence in the media. And even If he isn’t traded, a goodbye tour is gonna muck the year up so I doubt Horford is seriously considering it.

Londale to the grizzlies

Some remaining options:
Horford
D Jordan
Len
T Bryant
Bagley
Precious
Boucher
Lyles
Kai jones

Besides Horford, none of them are starters
