I can't get over the fact that Davis got rid of Gruden. It's like he says "This team is too good, time to screw things up again." Sure, we got one year of carry over after that, but it didn't take long to fall apart, did it.

Just tired of having an owner who seems to deliberately destroy anything successful that he might not be able to take full credit for...

I'm not defending the Raiders. Things were looking up this season, I like Kiffin (never cared for Norv, and was "wait and see" with Shell part 2). If Al is running Kiff out of town, then nothing good can come of that, and I'm very disappointed.

I'm just reacting to "Timmy's" comments... in that people seem to think the Raiders have sucked for 20 years, when in fact they had a nice run there under Gruden. Similarly, if the Mavs go on to stink again, I would hope that their fans would at least appreciate that they were very good for a few years.

Root for the Pats. They're actually fun to watch and Tom Brady is from San Mateo, so if you're a homer or semi-homer, you now have an excuse.
