turk3d, has a great point. Azu does have the potential to be pretty good. I do remember him starting in the pre-season and scoring tons of points for us, I thought it would continue with him coming off the bench as the 6th man. But things slowly disappeared because of Barnes and Pietrus taking majority of the mins from him. He really is a good physical defender, has good poise in clutch. He does have the ability to pour it all when given the chance.

With Azubuike's restricted status, I think there's a good chance that the Warriors can retain him. Some other team is going to have to offer the MLE in order for the Warriors to lose him. I doubt that some team is going to offer him something like that. I think he'll get a contract similar to what the Warriors offered Barnes and Pietrus which is around at least $3M.
Let's face it, Azubuike is solid and fits what the Warriors like to do. IMO, he's #4 of the team's free agents behind Davis, Ellis and Andris. I'm pretty confident he'll be brought back.

I think you're right , Rowell. Wouldn't the Ws be fortunate if he exercised it? How many players in the league are the equivalent of Bukie talent and skillwise at only $1M? Not too many.
