Someone on warriorsworld pointed out that there isn't a single peep out of the local media of last night's extreme blowup between Don Nelson and Baron Davis.
Wonderful. Way to keep it in-house and keep a lid on it.
If this was New York, the media would have escalated that conflict into World War 3, and had Nellie and Baron at each other's throats until they could no longer coexist.
Now there is some hope of a reconciliation because I don't want Baron to angrily opt out and join the Miami Heat (who will have enough money if Marion opts out to sign Baron). If Baron is not a Warrior next year, I want Eric Gordon or Derrick Rose instead.
So are we gonna talk about it...

Radnich talked about it on his 6 o'clock tv broadcast.
He said he got a message from a Phoenix media sitting next to the Warriors bench that they overheard Nellie/Baron conversation.... get this.... Baron was "out of it" because of his birthday party celebration. And he was not ready to play. Sound familiar?
Guess Baron did not know that this was his contract year, and did a Carmelo.

Really going out on a limb betting against a gimmicky senior citizen
How about, Baron will never win one?
If Baron could lead all of those sh*tty-ass teams into the second round, what could he do with a Brand and prime Monta, etc? Besides, Nellie didn't coach Nash well either.

The turn of the century Hornets were ****?

You don't remember a prime Mashburn, EC, PJ Brown, prime Wesley? They had a Magloire pre-deadknees too...
He's not a champion... he's a prima donna... WC Starbury without the slurred speech and munchies.

Any credible links or print articles to back this theory up?

Thabeeet is POB minus any abilities on offense. Nellie would not "tank" to draft some dude who won't play until Nellie retires.
Nellie would play THABEET because he is a world class shotblocker. He can put him in the game and know he'll get shotblocking. Nellie didn't play POB because he didn't know what he was gonna get from him. POB is okay at everything but wasn't great at anything. Nellie likes bigs who have a skill that stands out, like passing(webb), shotblocking(Bol), rebounding(beans), three pt shooting(raef), etc... no matter how bad they are at other things. Thabeet would get run for sure.
