Odds on our FAs coming back

POB- 100 to 1
The guy is a bum and Don Nelson hates him...the feeling is mutual on POBs side towards Nellie as well, Im sure.

Pietrus- 20 to 1
Four years of fustration and missed out potential. I think we have seen enough. The fact that he is an UFA pretty much kills whatever small chance existed of him returning as there is no chance that we even get close to the luxury tax in order to sign MP.

Kelenna- 5 to 1
I think we want to keep him but will have a hard time doing so. A few teams will bid for him using a sizable chunk of their MLE and I think we are going to be priced out. For us, he is a backup to Stephen and Monta. To many (SG starved) teams he would be a fringe starter or a valued sixth man. We cant afford to pay our backup SGs over 3M a year.

Barnes- 3 to 1
He is going to want money first and foremost. And even though we arent going to pay him much, this may be the reason why he comes back here. I think he re-signs on a cheap one year deal and tries to rediscover the magic that he had in 2007, then cash in on a contract next year.

Baron- 0.3 to 1
The guy would be silly to give up the payout of the final year in a max deal. Of course, he does have the choice of opting out if he thinks that a team like Atlanta or Philly would give him a better deal than the one he will receive next offseason, when lots of FAs will be available. I see him staying and then moving on the next offseason.

Beans- 0.2 to 1
It would defy logic that he not be re-signed. I know lots of posters are so cynical that they think our FO will do the opposite of good every opportunity they get, but expect them to be proven wrong (as usual). Beans gets signed quickly to a big, long term deal a la Chris Kaman (5 years, 50M).

Monta- 0.1 to 1
See Andris, except Monta is even more likely to be signed due to his proven success and potential for superstardom shown this year and the fact that he is the heir apparent at PG when Baron leaves. He will sign right away, too.

No Line- Cro and CJ (due to the fact that its not important either way if they come back)

POB- 100 to 1 Maybe less, in a year or two we'll see if he's a victim of Nellie's doghouse or just not an NBA player.

Pietrus- 20 to 1 Probably more like 5-1, but still almost certainly gone. I've never understood the hype, angst or hatred for Pietrus. A few years ago I thought he could become a 4th or 5th starter, but the last two years his inconsistency showed him to be a decent reserve wing player. How many fans of other teams worry this much about a reserve wing player? They're kind of important, but far from crucial for teams.

Kelenna- 5 to 1 At least 1-1, maybe more like 1-2 or 1-3. I can't imagine a team viewing Kelenna as a starter, and there will be a lot of higher value reserve wings available as FA's for team that need them. His RFA status will further drive down his price, making him more likely to stay as the Ws try to stay out of the tax.

Barnes- 3 to 1 A month ago I would have but Barnes at 1-1 or more, but ending the season on the outs makes him likely gone. As you say, he only stays if there's no other market for him.

Baron- 0.3 to 1 Odds of Baron leaving as a FA - 1-50. Noone else has caproom and an incentive to sign him. Odds of Baron leaving in a trade - 1-3??

Beans- 0.2 to 1 More like 1-20. Philly has Dalembert, Memphis is cheap. If no deal is made he still stays for the QO, but that's not a good deal for the Warriors, so he likely signs.

Monta- 0.1 to 1 Again, more like 1-20 or more. Memphis and Philly have other PG options, and if you don't see Monta as a pg, he's not worth the type of money that would cause the Warriors to even hesitate.

regarding baron, atlanta traded for bibby and philly has andre miller. i don't think either is in the market for a $15+ million a year point guard.

barnes stays at the minimum i think, unless the team is blown up. he allegedly has a strong connection to the organization and other players, and i doubt there's a market for him. there wasn't last year so why would there be this year after he stunk all year? its entirely possible the warriors choose not to offer him even a 1 year minimum deal though.
