Just throwing that out there since our coach loves to look at players in Europe so much.... I'm willing to bet Haislip becomes a Raptor :banghead:

Haslip? Isn't he like older than Theo Ratliff now?

We really need to address this PF issue.

Bring back everyone except Pattycakes and Barnes. If anything, trade Al. Keep Kosta in the dleague. Re-up Croshere.

Use the lottery pick and TPE in 2 trades (but hand in hand). In favor of Bringing in J O'neal. Elton Brown is the true pipe dream. But im in favor for the work hard and hustle PF ie: Craig Smith, Chuck Hayes.

Nellie needs to come back. Baron needs to work on shot selection. Monta needs to continue his progress. His man to man defense is garbage, but he can read passing lanes with the best of them. Monta needs to take the reigns from Baron and be the Man.
Lets Go Baron Davis...i dont care what jersey you put on. Lets go.
Big Smooth is focused and ready to handle the centers of the league.
Curry and Ellis will be a top 5 back court this season. 6/25/2010

Apparently he's 27... I'm sure I'll see the vid soon enough. But he was a Stromile like player, and my buddy tells me he's playing much smarter now.. he could be extremely useful.

Most of this makes good sense, though it's not the high risk,Pearl Harbor type stroke. It could be possible to send the TPE and a pick (not nessecerely #14) for a player costing $7-9 mill....then send him and Al and ? to Indy. However....our payroll shoots up $10 mill or so,and we get to worry about JO's next injury. Worse...remember Ralph Sampson? By the time Nellie landed him,Ralph's knees were held togather with Bazooka Gum,and he played about as often for us as POB did this year.

Craig Smith,or Wolves teammate Ryan Gomes would be a smart move, while neither is a star-both are smart, skilled and plenty tough.

#14 for Utah's #1 + Morris Almond + future rd 2?
CENSORED... No comment.

Veteran guys we can possibly grab are Craig Smith, Chuck Hayes (via trade), Ryan Gomes, Carl Landry (opt out clause, I believe), Ronny Turiaf, or Kurt Thomas.

Guys we can draft that could fill that PF/C need are:

First Round- Jason Thompson, Tyler Hansbrough, Kevin Love, SErge Ibaka
Second Round- Joey Dorsey, DJ White, Richard Hendrix

Re-up Cro? I'd rather give his spot to a young big who can get up and defend the rim a bit. Like Jamario Davidson, that 2nd round pick we sent to the Cats.

I would be targeting Gomes to replace Piet/Buke/Barnes.

I think Hansbrough goes back to UNC for his senior yr and Love will probably go in the top 10. I have been on the Jason Thompson bandwagon and I hope the Warriors can find a way to get him.

Opposing teams out-shot us 46.8% to 46%..How the heck are we a good team? We suck.

We out-scored our opponents by 2 pts per game.. 48 wins

LF, you never told me your plan for the offseason.

This is something Id like to hear from all the people that continue to have nothing good to say about our team.

You see, its hard to be taken seriously when you merely criticize and fail to offer any viable solutions.

We turned more possessions into shots than the opposition. Sometimes a lot more. Of course, sometimes it was a lot more, and we still lost.. like the Oakland finale.

I like the emphasis on getting easy baskets and limiting the number of opponent opportunities, even if it means the opportunities they do get are higher percentage. I think that part of the plan, when executed, worked well. It's really what got us in last year and made us dangerous against the Mavs.

Where I agree with you (I think) is that Nellie makes more sacrifices than he needs in order to achieve that. You don't have to rob the team of all rebounders and rim defenders to accomplish that goal.

For all these people on the Thompson bandwagon... did you all just pick a random name? Or is it the nice story from a small college aspect? You look him up on YouTube, you find a :07 dunk clip and an interview where he schooled a TV reporter....

I offer our TE and 2nd rd pick for him. You think you can do better, go for it.

What's the point of taking only a TE in return (because we alrdy have 4 2nd rounders) when he's an expiring contract averaging over 13 PPG? Yawn.

Since when is a veteran averaging 13 ppg on a bad team worth a lottery pick?

Keep the big goof.... he wasn't worth a lotto pick when he was picked in the lotto...

Talk to us when you want to dump Damian Wilken's contract for nothing.... then we'll be in business
