I would bet that Patrick would have helped us more than playing the others I listed at the power positions.
That's my point in a nutshell.
My other point is the mistreatment from the minute Nellie was hired.

Ok, without putting anything on the line...can you answer the question?
Certainly, if you dont believe that POB is going to be a good player sometime soon then it pretty much invalidates the argument that his talents were wasted here.
And regarding Nellie being too tough on POB...it seems that Brandan and Marco could handle the pressure...Monta and Andris could handle it...basically all of the other players loved Nellie. Why do we make an exception for POB? If he is THAT weak mentally then its likely an indicator of other mental weaknesses he has, too.
As the writer of the original story stated, and as many fans believed from day 1, and as was confirmed by our front office and coaching staff...POB does not have the temperament to play NBA basketball.
Its time for everyone to stop babying him and to call it what it is.

Brandan and Marco have not had the treatment O'Bryant has.
I really don't want to list it all again, please don't make me do it.
I do believe that Patrick will be a serviceable back-up center in this league and I think he might even earn starter status one day when he matures fully.
You have me on record, do with it what you want.

If Pat doesnt make it as a solid backup center, I'm not going let Nellie off the hook...Who knows how good this kid could of been if he had the proper support system and coaching..O'Bryant was dealt a bad hand...7-2 off suit...Turner and an ODB who is the queen of smallball.Mylie10 wrote:
