Thankfully ODB learned the error of his ways. He replaced Dunleavy as PF with Barnes, then Pietrus, then Azubuike, then Jackson. Like wine he gets better with age.

When Mullin said that Marco had to completely change his style of play, we all assumed it meant becoming a player like Mullin was... when in reality, he meant Nelson was turning him into a 3 point shooting PF...

Book it. Marco starting PF 08/09.

Loyal you're really good at taking a turn of phrase, and using it over and over to overcome objectivity and rationality in favor of the easy, disparaging label.

Well done! You're the Lee Atwater of hoops fandom. Have you considered politics?

This team will find balance eventually. I think the Warriors know and especially Mullin knows that if they want to establish a good team that can go beyond first or second round, first they need to establish a good win record. Then they need a strong anchor in the paint (The queen piece in Chess). Biedrins is already pretty decent and Wright may become a star if the hype is real. I think the other thing is personality wise, we seem to have a good roster that listens and is responsible and can work together.

We got a good future ahead of us, it's just frustrating when the Warriors start playing undisciplined ball because our captains just don't know how to run an offense. It just doesn't make sense for a sub 30's 3 point shooter to be launching that many 3pt shots early in the clock... or for guys to stand there watching one guy pound the ball back and forth. Somebody move! Call a play so guys know where to move to... It's just not real basketball because they forget how to play like a team. College kids have a better understanding of how to play together than some of these nba guys... Somebody cut, or somebody go backdoor, somebody set a screen... instead our shot selection, lack of ball movement, and unwillingness to draw contact inside is what killed it. I mean the foul shooting was actually pretty good down the stretch. Not sure why our captains decide to start chucking. Attack the rim or step inside the 3 point arc and increase the odds of the ball going in.

The best players from college/high school who go to the nba should be at least able to hit a college range 3 pointer consistently.
