knicks are F$$ked regardless. haha they really deserved #1 more than anyone imo. i dont even think miami deserves #2 to be honest.

Ralph, why would you make the same post, word for word, on the Knicks board?

For what it's worth, I don't think the Knicks would be likely to do this trade either but it's a lot closer than the posters on that board think.

D'antoni was part of the turnaround in Phoenix, and it didn't involve a high draft pick (although they did get lucky with Amare dropping to them at #9)..

I could see them keeping the #6 pick and using it to start building, and just as easily I could see them moving the pick in order to get things moving a bit quicker.

that said, I don't think they easily move Starbury (I think they prefer to keep the large expiring contract), and that #6 would only be moved if it helped grease the wheels in a trade getting rid of Curry or Randolph.
