Actually, ROWELL absolutely does have the right to do exactly that. I'm not entirely sure that the concept of "rights" means what you think it means.

Of course, you have "the right" to serve him a healthy portion of verbal crow should that come to pass, but no one's "rights" are at stake here.

:usa: :usa: :usa: Yeah...Rights is rights. Anyone has the right to act like an ignorant slut, but I get the right to laugh and call them an ignorant slut.

The refs in this series are pretty flakey. Fish is grabbibg, flopping, diving on knees and ankles. Sasha just about hugs Celtics, yet it's Allen-Pierce-KG who have 5 fouls at the end?

Since when is a hockey hip-check legal D in basketball?

Of course anyone has the right to say what they want. I was just expressing my belief that if you say one very negative statement over and over (especially out of context) and mock people for holding the contrary opinion, but then make an abrupt 180 once the weather has faired then you cant expect to have your opinion treated with respect since your assessment skills are obviously flawed and your integrity clearly questionable.

This isn't a case of "oops, I guess I was wrong about player X. After playing bad his first year it looks like he can play. Good for him. My bad." Its been a clear and repeated chest beating, displaying a hubris that is intended to show the forum how right he is and how wrong everyone else has been.

He can do that, but he looks like a real douche if he changes his tune later. A REAL, SERIOUS douche.

I distinctly remember LF getting seriously up in arms about me wanting to trade Dun & change for Pierce two years ago. (And it wasn't because the trade was unfair to Boston.)

From the wiretap article, Vujacic: Celtics Play Too Rough:
Sasha believes that Boston gets away with quite a bit.

"They (Boston) foul a lot. They get away with a lot of fouls," Vujacic said.

:violin:

ooops, no playoffs sweep for me!

It was win-win, though. 15-0 playoff predictions, or seeing the Lakers get crushed. :-)

Thank gawd its over. those are two of the most unlikable teams in the NBA. Even KG has become unlikable to me.
